bottle-pours an off white head and murky orange/brown color. Aroma is tart, wood. Taste is tart, wood funk, yeast. Interesting.
( 750ml bottle 2008 vintage, batch 10, bottle #370) Pours cloudy orange-brown with nose of tart cherries, wet barrel, cognac and funk. Taste of cognac, tart cherries and wood. batch 10 bottle 370 thanks to thirdeye11. deep amber with a cream head. nose is tart, sour, cognac and wood. nice on the palate with a slight sourness and a little overpowering by the cognac and a clean finish.

Batch #10 bottle #370 2008 thanks to thirdeye11. Pours with a large, off-white head over a hazy amber body. Aroma is musty, acidic, attic, wood, alcohol, wine and brandy barrels. A bit of sourdough bread and raw pasta as it warms. Taste is not super sour. Some metallic notes. Light acid. Not nearly as elegant or acidic as the regular Barriquee in my opinion. Kind of faded and mellow. Light to medium carbonation.
