Bottled at RBESG2006 - Thx KnutAlbert. Quite ridiculous to bring the three Panil beers from Italy, through Norwegian customs, and then back in to the EU, but greatful I am. It pours hazy golden-orange with a small beige head. Lovely aroma, sour and citric, with apples, yeast and barnyard notes. The flavor is both sweet and tart, quite sugary with some kind of brown sugar, and yeast. Medium, astringent mouthfeel and a long fruity finish with some alcohol an citric notes. Nice Co2 level. The beer gives a really artisanal impression. (060825) gnoff (10793) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 14, 2006
(37.5 cl bottle: RBESG 2006: Thanks to Knut Albert) Shady orange color, tan head. Sour scent, but not like in a lambic, though similar. Some alcohol. Sweet and alcohol taste, a bit sour in the mouth and also in the after taste.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2006 (Bottle) Pours hazy light orange with a small white head. Aroma is a bit sour but creamy. Herbs and sweet red berries. Some alcohol. A bit acid. Flavor is sweet in the beginning that turns sour when you swalllow. Herbs, hops and soil. Salty. Good balance. Light, fresh body. hammenlind (737) - Sundbyberg, SWEDEN - SEP 10, 2006
Hazy yellow, thin white head. Sour, yeasty, green apples and herbs in aroma with some grassyness. Flavour is lemony and acidic. Slight bitter finish. Refreshing. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 7, 2006
[Bottled RBESG 2006]
Thanks to Knut Albert for bringing this delicasy to Göteborg!
Murky yellow colour. Aroma is loaded with this and that: herbs, cheese, berries, almond paste. Wonderfully sourish, yet pleasantly and laid back so to speak. Flavour is apple cake with a smooth mouthfeel, with sparkling caramel notes. Fluffy mouthfeel. Very complex. I prefer this mild version, it seemed to be more complex than the sour version. [Bottle at RBESG] caremel aroma with berry fruits and haxelnuts. dusty yeast character, mildly lactic. full body, faintly tart. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 3, 2006
Bottled (thanks KnutAlbert). Hazy nutbrown colour, mediumsized beige head. Arina if sour and dry fruits and a bit alcohol and nuts as well. Flavour is fruitish at first, then it turns butterish and caramellish. Flowery hops are domintaing in the finish. Aftertaste is fruits and nuts. Lovely balance. Some marsipan also noteable.
