The Sour has a sticker to differenciate it from the sticker-less Barriquée Mild, which has not been inoculated with lactobacillus bacteria.

Pours amber red with a decent off-white head. Aroma is vinegar, funk, oak. Taste is nice and sour with the oak coming through nicely balanced in the finish. Palate is excellent with perfect carbonation and medium body. Very nice sour.

Dark amber/cider color; Medium body; Aroma of woody malt, yeast, sour fruit, & some vanilla/caramel; Flavor of slight sweet malt, yeast, oak, sour dark fruit (notably cherries), some vinegar, and spice; Finish is dry & sour/tart; Very nicely balanced; Simply well done - very good overall.

ASPETTO: marrone mogano scuro, abbastanza limpido, schiuma beige, abbondante, fine e persistente. AROMA: acetoso, aceto balsamico, frutti rossi, legnoso e, stranamente, intonaco!

Torrefacto (1667) - Madrid, SPAIN - SEP 15, 2016

Saveurs off en bouche.

750 ml bottle shared. Clear amber with a thin beige head. Aroma is vinous, dark berry, some funk. Taste has a lot of nutty, caramel notes. Not much tartness. Medium body and medium carbonation.
