COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the original version, it’s not barrel aged, the card attached to the neck reads "birra speciale", and it’s available in bottles of 37cl.

If you had a 75cl bottle, you had the "Panil Divina (barrel aged)", which is the same as Panil Divinatale.

Flaske: Flot uklar orange øl, med et flot skummende hurtigt forsvindende skær under ophælding. Ikke så sur som ventet hvilket passer mig fint. En smule frugt og meget lidt stald. Fin øl.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2009 My Bottom Line :
Starfruit and biscuity cereals eye each other from each side of a dusty yeast funkiness in this lightly tart and mostly fruity P-Lambic.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A thin ring of foam circles the murky orangey beige.
-Lactic notes are present throughout.
-Orange pulp accompanies the watery starfruit juice.
-The barnyard character is definitely present, but does not always seem coherent.
-The finish is strangely flat; there was indeed a sudden drop in flavour towards the end.
-The overall result is quite drinkable, but even though this is a commendable attempt at a rare style, I found it extremely expensive for what it is.

1-year-old brew bottled in November ‘07.

Bottle. Hazy yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Light acidic aroma of fruits, wood and peaches. Fruity flavour of burnt plastic with acidic notes and notes of wood. Tart finish.

0.375 l bottle. Hazy yellow color. Very fizzy but head fades quickly. Sweet and sour aroma with grapefruit, strawberry and plastic. The flavor is also sweet and sour with tart fruitiness, grapefruit, strawberry and plastic. Nice soft acidity but unfortunately the medicinal plastic note messes up otherwise excellent beer.

Hazy, golden, really special one! Not really a lambic, but something different: really fruity with little sweetness (most of all agrumes), citric with moderate sourness and a bit yeasty. Should be really interesting to age...

Very special. Hazy, golden, white head that does not linger. Smells like marzipan. Taste is fruty, citric and acidic (though not to the extent that some other lambics) with more marzipan. Quite unusual really.

Bottled at Bruxellensis Hazy, blond body. Off-white, creamy head. Soury, aroma of citrus/oranges. Nice, well balanced aroma. Moderately sour, lightly sweet flavour (again fruity of citrus (orange/grapefruit) and grapes). Great, refreshing beer, but not too sour.

JoeinDahlem (1521) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 16, 2008
Bottled at Bruxellensis. Hazy yellow color. Nose was tart and lemony, lightly musty, with an odd floral-herbal tinge to it. Tastes tart, lemon-zesty. Still there’s that herbal edge and a slight bitterness that don’t fit the picture somehow. Nice, interesting and surprisingly easy-drinking though.
