At Open Baladin Torino. Pours lightly hazy dark gold with a medium, frothy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is light buttery diacetyl with moderate lactic grapes and supporting biscuit malt. Flavor is paper oxidation, buttery diacetyl, cracker and biscuit malt with lactic grapes and a dry finish. Aroma - wheat, ripe must, a potent lactobacillus yeast, funk, and a quality like white grape.
Appearance - the body is hazed goldenrod, with occasional nucleation. The head is white and 1" and fades into a thin layer of foam. Some lacing - frothed and full. Final bottle swirl-in of bottom yeast adds in really darkens the color, but also creates dark clouds and folds of color. Beer is fully clouded and dark goldenrod.
Taste - has a slightly sharp focused must. Their is a slight wood, slight funk, mineral nature, and some wheat. Lacto yeast that has reached full half-life. There is also a slight mercurochrome nature. Swirl-in beefs up all previous flavors.
Palate - is on the light side of medium, the texture is slightly vinous, the carbonation is average, the finish is woody, funked, and slightly antiseptic. Mortlach (2340) - Rome, ITALY - DEC 15, 2015

Aroma of yeast dough, barnyard, moderate citric and fruity notes, oxidation. Flavour is medium to light sour with a minimal sweetness, a bit confused and rough. Medium body, light carbonation. Enjoyed at a tasting hosted by Brian on October 22. Thanks for the post-birthday hosting man! Poured from a 375 mL bottle shared by Brian. Thanks man! Vintage 2007. The pour on this is a little different. It’s a clear-ish golden amber color with some soapy bubbles that account for the white head. There is no lace as they burst and leave only a ring of collar. The aroma is something else. It carries a nuttiness and strong citrus tendencies, without being too overly sour. There is a little bit of a cleaner to it as well. It does smell a touch oxidized and like it might be past its prime. The flavor doesn’t do too much to dispel these. There is a pretty decent grape presence and then moves to a sweetness. This is not at all what I was expecting. There is a little spice and some oak, with what does taste like cardboard. Obviously oxidized at this point. The mouth feel is heavier and syrupy with a very light carbonation and a lingeringly sweet, lightly citrus finish. New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle ($17): pours orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is vinegar, funk, sugar, and basements. Taste is sour. Carbonation is not that heavy. Aftertaste is sour and thinking about it makes your mouth pucker out just a bit. Low sweetness. Pretty nice. Not mindblowing. Glad to finally get to 77.

bottle with qc crew - thanks guys! pours cloudy pale golden with a small white cap, minimal retention and no particular lacing traces. chlorine, perfumey flowers, berries and some overripened fruits if not rotten, lots of honeyed maltienss - cardboard, lemons, sweet tart-like *TM, woodsy - oak, bitter herbs, old grass. light carbonation - could be brighter, light body, relatively dry and tart lemony finish. before BB date. nah. Pours golden with low to no head. Aroma is of rubber, fruits, huxxydation. Taste is of rubber, fruits, sourness, cardboard. Palate: Medium body. Very low carbonation. Overall: Deaded. UPDATED: APR 8, 2015 Best before 07/2015. Pours a clear golden with some big bubbles for a head. Nose is of nuts, some paint thinner, fruits and almond (redundant I know but I got a separate impression). Taste is of light chlorine, moderately acid with more oxidation nuts and cardboard, fruits and some wheat germ. Body is light to medium, carbonation moderate and it felt semi-authentic with a low level of funk. Appearance: Cear golden with a small ring of white foam and no lacing.
Aroma: Oxidized. Cardboard and paint thinner. After is breathe for a while, there’s some oak, honeyed notes, light spiciness and rotten white grapes.
Taste: It doesn’t get much better here. Cardboard and paint thinner at first, followed by some honey sweetness, rotten white grapes, oak and mild spiciness.
Palate: Medium body. Very soft carbonation, borderline still. Cardboard finish.
Overall: This beer was dead. Not good at all and a lot less good that what I remember from Panil Divina Barrel-Aged (though is as some of the same "problems").
Bottle. Clear gold pour with thin ring of white. Aroma of solvent, bandaid, pinesol. Taste is oxidized, papery, light lemon, pine sol. Palate is light, light carbonation. Meh.
