22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Opaque black beer, no real head. Light palate - very light! Minerally and a good deal of fresh espresso coffee. Finishes light and a little dry. Very decent coffee beer.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of gn0sis. Pours pitch black with a light brown creamy head. Sweet coffee aroma, not overly roasted - kinda smooth. Medium body, some hard roast and vanilla while the coffee flavours are toned down a bit. There’s a little malt tartness and astringency. But overall a pleasant and balanced coffee Porter. 180311 mcberko (19837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 28, 2011
22 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp, pour black with a substantial beige / tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, licorice, and bready malts. Flavour is quite roasty, but also a bit metallic - coffee and roasted malts in the beginning, finishing roasty and metallic. A bit thin and water, and too much of that metallic note.
