Not bad. Average. Drinkable. Their most drinkable beer. Great name, it will get you drunk. A staple for the Holyoke st paddy day parade.

No head. Clear carrot orange. Slight haze in the glass. Not much going on, really.
Toasted caramel malts in the nose. Slightly sweetened with molasses. A mild grassy hop. Slightly nutty, but more sweet; English-style sugars.
The taste is an oxidized mess, wet cardboard hint at first, which overshadows the crystalline, spiky malt, as well as the ever-so-slight grassy hop. Like a stale pilsner, although it is actually neither.
The feel is very watery and thin, which doesn’t help the flavor. It’s just not that great. The wet paper doesn’t do anyone any favors. cheap (6020) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 18, 2009
A mildly hoppy ale like many APA that wants to be an IPA. Accepatble to the lager lover. Aroma is dull hops and this carries over to the finish. Looks like a pale lager with a decent white head. I’d say this is more than a simple golden ale as specified here. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - FEB 27, 2009
Ryan/Casey. Light brown bod with prickly tan head. Fully hoppy nose, with some pine notes. Creamy texture. Taste of hops, caramel. Pretty good actually. Plenty of grapefruit in the finish. blipp (9598) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 15, 2009
Bottle. Pours gold with an off white head. Hoppy aroma, floral with fruity notes. Balanced flavor with more floral notes. Not bad.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear golden color with a thin tan head. Rather fizzy. Aroma is very light, almost to the point of non-existent. All I could smell was some bitter hops. Flavor is rather spicy and zesty with some floral hops and grapefruit. A little tangy and watery but finishes with a clean citrus taste. TheGent (656) - , Massachusetts, USA - AUG 26, 2008
This is a local beer for local people. Gold, honey color in the pour with little head. Aroma was suble with definate bitter hops that covered over a sweeter scent, almost cookie dough like. taste was very light and sort of thin but would suit the adverage beer drinker just fine. But also not bad for us snobs when the wallet is a little light. A ligher beer for those with lighter pockets. smaynard6000 (1227) - Apopka, Florida, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Very faint aroma. Rich opaque golden color with a small white head. Nice hoppy flavor makes a good impression on the tongue with some spiciness and citrus. Average body, not too heavy but not overly thin either. Nice beer. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 12, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a thin rich white head with some lacing and gold color. Aroma is mild citrus-lemon/earthy/spicy (EKG, Saaz&Amarillo?), secondary grain/medium malt. Taste is earthy/spicy hops (more EKG/Fuggle&some Saaz-continental), most of the citrus disappeared from the aroma, grainy/husky. Enjoyable. Good carbonation. jimhilt (2621) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 1, 2008
Pours a one finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer, leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Light carbonation and light bodied. Hoppy nose. Flavor is some honey, some hops not much of anything. $1.55 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
