Nice dark color with brown/ruby tones. Sweet nutty aroma. Flavor is nutty and sweet, with some coffee hints. Lightly bitter with just a slight sourness that detracts from the beer. jimhilt (2610) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 30, 2004
This came with a real label that did mention "limited brewer's offering". Pours with light brown, two-fingered bubbly head, fades slowly and leaves an even lace. Medium carbonation. Deep red/amber color. Nose has a hint of nuttiness. Flavor is a good mix of malts and hops and there is some lingering hoppiness. $1.75 for a 12oz bottle. desurfer (1302) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - MAR 26, 2004
Deep mahogany body and a tightly packed tan head. Light nutty aroma. Smooth bodied, malty flavor. Roasted but bland finish. dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 14, 2004

Dissapointing! I was expecting much better from these guys. This brew is flat and very watery on the feel. The nice roasty taste is there somewhere, but this is approaching syrup. Need some head!

Caramel, roasty nut nose. Copper brown hue. Small beige head. Sweet, caramel malts, medium bodied, finishing with a lack of flavor or flair...I cant find any hops? Perhaps I need to get another bottle an do this again, as I am very unimpresed with this beer...And it is a buck or 2 more expensive per 6er than the normal brews from these guys.
