Lagerboy (2221) - British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 7, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2013 Bomber. Nice deep dark clear copper, solid foamy off-white head slowly breaks down. Tantalizing aroma of floral citrus hop and spicy rye malt. Lots going on here taste-wise: good hoppage, spruce, citrus, floral and spicy, complemented with lager, toasty caramel and spicy rye malts. Crisp and clean, average carbonation, light-medium bodied. I really enjoyed this one, very interesting take on a lager, but it’s still: LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary). WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - SEP 29, 2013
Bomber. Pours copper with dissipating white head. Nose of pine, earthen dankness, a bit of rye spiciness. Flavour is earth, pine, resin. Finish lasts, mouthfeel is light but smooth. Along with the strong banana in their Belgians, this "India Pale Lager" style is, I guess, the defining characteristic of this brewery. Good on them for filling a niche, I think a lot of people are looking for something like this, but for me I’d rather not have the circles in the vimy diagram touch, kind of an odd mix. mcberko (18056) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 4, 2013
650mL bottle, pours a deep dark copper amber with a small off-white head. Nose brings out quite a bit of earthy notes, some rye, and dry caramel malts. Flavour is very dry, bringing out dry earthy notes, a little caramel and subdued rye malts. The earthy notes dominate, followed by the rye, making a very drinkable dry, earthy amber ale. Very solid stuff and well-made - just nothing special or memorable. JHunter (676) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 25, 2013
pours a dark red colour with a slim white head. aroma is light caramel and rye malts. flavour is sweet malts with a nice little spice from the rye but the rye flavours aren’t strong Ferris (15889) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 24, 2013
Bottle - Resinous hops, amber malts. Clear dark brown with a thin head. Hop forward and resinous with a nice balanced caramel malts. A little bitter, but still pretty nice. Finish has a bit of alcohol, but isn’t bad.

(650ml bottle) Purchased at Cascadia Liquors new Uptown location. Cost around $6. Pours a near headless copper body. Nose is an odd soapy citrus will a wooden base. The tongue is highly carbonated, marmalade, pine resin and earthy. Very interesting. I like this. MarkQ (83) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 19, 2013

first off if the bottle does’nt tweak your interest the smell well its so invigerating and mysterious you get a sweet kinda hoppy smell followed by a sweet dark maltyness pours like an angel the darker the beer the sexyer it getsand the flavour is just the most little mild citrisy hop then followed by waves of dark malty fruit very crisp and dry almost to carbinated but hell its still great Gerbeer (3782) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 18, 2013

I was hesitant on buying a bottle when I was visiting Salmon Arm, but after tasting it I wished I bought a few others. Now that I’m back in my small town, I wish they shipped them here. It was a really good beer, the best I’ve had other than the Townsite Yogn 82.
