Nice effervescence. Bland Aromas, with wheat, and a little cloves, banana and circus peanuts. Flavors of mild cloves, fresh tobacco and dough. This hefe actually got better warming up. 10/14

bottle. Golden with one finger head. Hefe with far more banana than clove. Sweet. Definitely not as complex or interesting as better hefes, but totally drinkable.

From a bomber poured in an English pint glass. Pours cloudy gold. Aroma is sweet wheat. Good depth of flavor, was expecting very light mouthfeel but it’s more medium. However, it is incredibly sweet. Probably the sweetest Weizen I’ve had. It’s not bad, but it’s just so sweet you can feel it rotting your teeth. a_sully (457) - - OCT 8, 2014
brackish yellow with a thin white head.Aroma is light with hints of banana and clove. Taste is much stronger than the aroma and quite refreshing overall. Headbanger (3989) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - SEP 21, 2014
22oz bottle 9/21/14 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in Weizen glass. Pours a hazy yellowish orange with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, slight banana and clove. Taste of wheat, banana, clove, and yeast. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and pretty tasty. Just wish the flavors were a bit more prominent.

650ml bottle. Deep discount at binnys. Hazed dark gold pour. Banna and clove aroma. Flavor is pretty spot on for the style, a bit less firm in body, a bit of extra tang but not bad. reebtogi (6235) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 14, 2014
650ml bomber pours a hazy pale golden color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is clove and banana with yeasty notes. Taste is a fruity banana and malty sweetness with a light spicy hop bitterness. Light bodied with good carbonation. Nicely crafted and recommended. nuplastikk (6202) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 18, 2014
22oz bomber. Unfiltered, cloudy yellow tinged orange. Thin, steady off-white head. Pleasant orange-banana aroma. Medium bodied, but still just a pinch bigger than typical for the style. The yeast is a little restrained as well, but overall it is a solid, clean, refreshing beverage. ryecatcher (1431) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 12, 2014
Bomber (and for the record, the label says ’Cabana Hammock’ and has a guy in surf jams instead of a banana lounging in the hammock... bar code has name numbers, so maybe this as an export version?) ...anyway, pours a hazy yellow-gold excellent carbonation, big fluffy white head with very nice retention and decent lacing. Nose is banana, clove, some Bazooka Joe bubblegum, malt. Mouth is medium bodied, wheat creamy, slight tartness, bread dough, hay, mild yeasty spice, more banana and clove, those Pilsener malts poking their head through, finishes kind of grassy. Nothing mid-blowing but decent and drinkable. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 12, 2014
Dull and cloudy, this is the sort of basic hefe you’d find all over Germany, some banana, touch of wheaty acidity, pretty simple but serviceable.
