Rating #1703 - 2016.06.01 Returned home from SK to this gorgeous mixpack. Brews Brothers Vol. 1. Clear yellow colour, nice white foam, medium retention. Aroma is pleasant, generously hopped. Mouthfeel is bubbly and crisp, medium carbonation. Taste is hint of sweet malt, dries out in the fairly smooth finish with a nice hoppy presence. Delicious.Gone away for good. ryanhunter_4 (349) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 23, 2015
341 ml bottle poured at home. Pours a pale yellow with a minimal head that died quickly. I couldn’t get a lot of aroma from it; it does pack more punch in than I would have expected though. A nice bitter finish. To look at it you’d expect a Coors Light taste. Not so. Drinkable! ljthiessen (1448) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 19, 2015
Bottle. Pale, light yellow colour with a thin, pillowy white head. Mostly sweet grainy malt, a little corny, light fruity notes. More flavour than expected for a pilsner, but still mostly plain. Not a lot of hop character. Meh. northropfrye (3709) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 19, 2015
The Thrill is Gone - so long B.B. Light yellow body, faint white head, some lacing. Grainy aroma. Taste is really nice, actually. Slightly hoppy, medicinal even, some smoke, yeast, a touch of tartness, in addition to usual pale lager malt elements. Enjoyable. Excellent for the style. cards04 (2931) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 18, 2015
Pours a light yellow. Aromas are grassy and weeds. Herbal. Herbal and bitter flavours as well. A pretty ok pils.

ENG: 341ml bottle from the Brews Brothers pack, purchased in Liquor Mart Winnipeg, poured into the Teku glass. Clean, straw/yellow color with small, tan head. Aromas of citrus and fruits. Tastes citrusy, malty. A bit soury-bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, low and watery body. Overall quite low bodied, so it’s good for more hot summer days. Maybe a bit too soury taste. PL: Butelka 341ml z zestawu Brews Brothers, zakupionego w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelane do Teku. Barwa klarowna, żółto-słomkowa, piana jasna, niewielka. Aromaty cytrusowe, owocowe. W smaku cytrusy, słody. W posmaku lekko kwaśnawo-goryczkowe. Średnie nasycenie, lekkie i do tego wodniste odczucie w ustach. Podsumowując dość niskie odczucie w ustach więc piwo bardziej na lato, wtedy faktycznie może być orzeźwiające. Może nieco zbyt kwaskowe...
Bottle. Medium golden huw, clear, with an average white head that collapses to a couple small islands of foam. Clean grains with a sweet fruity hop character (ripe mango?) and a firm bitter finish. As pilseners go, this one had more character than most. Pleasant. UXO (1922) - CANADA - APR 30, 2015
Pours clear pale straw with one finger of rocky white head, good retention and lacing. (4/5) Nose is crackery malt, faint grassy hops, hint of citrus. (6/10) Taste is mild to moderate sweet, mild bitter. (6/10) Light body, soft carbonation, crisp with lingering mildly bitter and slightly sweet finish. If you ask me, the thrill might be coming back - goes down a treat after another 12 hour work day. Light and crisp in the body, with soft carbonation and a surprisingly absent ABV, except for just a hint of sweetness in the finish. I generally find pilseners pretty boring - because, let’s face it, they are - but I could drink a few of these. (14/20)
Yellow. Kind of Euro-lager scent. Adequate flavour. Warm malt and fair hops. No bite or aggressiveness.faint head and lace. Not a bad drinker, just craft-average. Crit (4065) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 24, 2015
Straw colour with a stark white head. Lightly sweet/spicy nose.Sweet start, neutral mid, light but lasting spicy hop finish. Corn notes detract somewhat
