From the tap at Tap & Barrel, Vancouver, Canada. Pours classic gold with irregular white foam. Aroma is cereal and delicate citrus. Body is kind of light and with medium carbonation. Taste is uninteresting sweet at first, with some average bitterness then. Finish is very average lager.

Golden lager with a foamy head that dissipates quickly. Grainy and slightly floral aroma. Light sweetness and minimal bitterness in this easy to drink lager. The body is light and the slight creaminess coupled with lively carbonation make for a refreshing finish.

The definition of Happy Hour filler is nothing more than a craft version of the ubiquitous pale ale / lager. Perhaps the rest of their beers stand up better to scrutiny but this particular one is nothing more than a calibration of "average".

Aroma / Appearance - A soft honey body filters out only a trace amount of light. The gentle presence melts like the buttery soft profile of grain - it smells like the "beer" that people who are not into craft styles picture when they say they do not like it.

Flavor / Palate - Grain and wheat highlight an otherwise unremarkable experience. It fades as quickly as it hits the palate. There’s no depth to speak of and a couple of minor flaws. Thankfully Vancouver had much more to offer during my stay.

Straw yellow pour. Sweet grainy aroma and taste. Really good as far as lagers go.

Let’s be honest, people: we buy this because it has the East Van Cross on it.

Bottle into pint glass. Pours a clear straw colour with a thin white cap. Aroma is straw, hay and grain. Taste is light grain with some pleasant bitterness.

14oz draft at Joey Sherwood. Yellow and clear in the glass. Thin white cap. Nose has grains and light grass. Taste has a lot of grains and grainy sweetness, bit of lemon and grass. Not worth a repeat.

TimE (6352) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 24, 2016
golden color, frothy white head. Slight butter popcorn and lightly hopped nose. Low hops, lots of butter. This beer has issues.

Rating #1379 - 12.12.2014 341mL Bottle #11 from the CC/P49 Mystery Box. Unimpressive pale yellow pour with a weak white foam that fades quickly. Aroma is vegetal, grasses, sweet malts. Taste is bland, grainy with a lingering sweetness into a smooth, and rather refreshing finish. Something here is appealing... pretty refreshing grassy bite. All in all, a light crisp lager that is super crushable, but nothing rave-worthy.
