Till the earth, tip the bottle. With the new season comes a new saison - complex and fruity, with a semi-dry finish.

tightslice (1529) - Redwood City, California, USA - SEP 28, 2015
Location: Bottle from World Market in Redwood City, CA
Appearance: Very hazy light gold
Aroma: Light peaches, mild floral, mild yeasty funk
Taste: Crisp lemony tart with a mild bitter finish
Overall: Very drinkable but missing character and depth

rubbishystuff (2537) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2015
From BandC. Shame to see such low ratings I quite liked this one. Lemony tart, a little funk, yeasty fruity and floral and quite refreshing. Bubbly and a little pepper. Serving: Bottle

Overripe lemon and pear. Cloudy amber, thick head. Lemon and funk, musty pear finish, vegetal. Medium body, moderate carbonation. I misread the label expecting it to be an American wheat. Clearly, it is a saison.

Bottle. Cloudy, gold color. Really huge head. I can see why this is called "Hay Fever". That’s what it smells and tastes like.....hay.

nuplastikk (6514) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 13, 2014
11.5oz bottle. Hazy unfiltered golden tan body. Mellow sweet corn-wheat aroma. Creamy, bigger side of medium bodied. Some deep saison yeast notes, from banana to phenolic high temp. A pinch closer than a lot of stateside Saisons, but still has a little but of a harsh, unrefined feel. The wheat does flesh it out some, but at the end of the day it still comes off as not quite there. Has a little bit of depth and subtlety, which is more than most "Saisons" can say.

11.5 oz. looks like it was bottled in 02, 2014. Pours a foggy golden-amber with a lasting spit of bubbles. Nose is white grape, honey, wheat and pungent cheese. Flavors of white grape must, honey, tropical bubblegum and a squeeze of lemon are finished off with some bitterish wheat flour and funky yeast. Nice balance in the medium body makes for a fairly easy warm weather quaff. Medium-high carbonation is not what I prefer, but fits the style I suppose.

Suttree (6541) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 9, 2014
Murky gold, big, loose white head. Smells tangy and citrusy, with grassy notes in the background. Taste is pretty sweet - A little sweeter than I prefer, to be honest. Some flowery and perfumey notes, too. Some subtle funky and woody flavors, as well.

Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 8, 2014
Cloudy straw. Aroma is yeasty...is that the Thiriez yeast I smell everywhere these days? Touch of grapefruit/lemon citrusy hop, dash of tropical esters, hint of pale malt.

crossovert (14135) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 25, 2014
340ml bottle. Hazed pour. This one is very zesty and bitter, grassy, herbal nice spring saison.

bhensonb (15973) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle at West Coast Brew Fest 2014. Pours dishwater gold. Earthy, celery aroma. Med body or nearly. Flavor is earthy, citrus, and ? Finishes mildly farmhouse. Excellent.
