On tap at barley brothers. Pours a straw yellow nice tropical fruit aromas. You can really taste the yeast in here along with the tropical fruit. High abv is hidden quite well. Best white IPA I’ve had thus far

Aroma- Mango, passion fruit, tangerine, pomelo, lemon. Appearance is a hazy golden orange with a hair thin ring of head. Taste follows the aroma with some grapefruit rind and wheat tang, a little bit of spice (coriander and white pepper) as well. Sweet upfront, boozy in the middle and lightly bitter albeit with some staying power in the finish. Overall- Great beer, great name.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruits with some slight phenolic notes. Taste is the same with medium level of sweetness. Piney hops, resin aftertaste with boozy bitterness notes. Good stuff, but I would prefer it with less boozy notes.

22oz bottle 9/20/16 (Caputo’s Singles Rack)-42° in shaker-Pours a hazy golden with floaties. Aroma of malt, hops, and sweetness. Taste of the same with some more malt and slight alcohol. This full bodied brew is not bad but was expecting more.

Bottle. Bright orange color with a thin but firm white top. This drinks with a certain undercover funk that I can’t quite describe, but essentially defines this beer. There are aspects of chewy citrus, but the wet-woody-mush current (which sounds worse than I mean), while subtle, still ends up the dominate note. (#6235, 7/16/2016)

From a 650 ml bomber. A lighter orange amber in color, with a moderate white head and faintly sweet and fruity nose. Pleasantly fruity, slightly malted and hopped, but unremarkable. 3.5

nearbeer (5363) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 19, 2016
650 ml. Lightly hazy, burnt orange with a thin creamy foam. Nose of mixed citrus hard candy, dried grass, booze and toast. Flavors of dark cherry toffee, citrus honey, toast, dried grass and booze. Medium-heavy body is to the sweet side and has low-medium carbonation.

2015 parallel 49 central city advent calendar. Pours yellow, foamy head. Fruity malty straw, the usual. Taste is similar. Low carbonation. It?s OK.

650mL capped bottle, a gift from fiulijn. Apparently he is giving these out to every lucky girl at the dance :). I wasn’t having high expectations for this beer. First, no idea of age. Second, an Imperial IPA from Canada, well call me skeptical. When cold this seems to hit the spot. Strong hops, moderate bitterness, no off flavors. Passes the "I didn’t try test’ but the true test of a beer is letting it warm up. Temperature decreases bring out a much sweeter sugary aspect. Not offending and not caramel - thank goodness - but sweet. Hops sort of generic but felt. Not particularly bitter, again the sweetness covers up a lot. I see this as just an American Strong Ale, its actually not bitter or hoppy enough. I can drink it again and it exceeded my expectations.
