Traditionally, the strength and beauty of the Czech brewing industry lay in the wide variety and uniqueness of its product range. Budweiser Budvar, N.C. decided to go against this trend and enrich the Czech beer culture with a beer of a new, original flavour particularly suitable for the typical Czech beer consumers. Therefore the brewery invited the real consumers, i.e. those who are fond of beer and have experience in its consumption, to take part in developing it. For several months, the aroma, colour and flavour were being tuned in the brewery. Combining traditional brewing skills with the experience of Budweiser Budvar’s brewers and challenging ideas of many beer connoisseurs resulted in the creating of the present Czech beer idol – “Pardál” beer, the perfect beer for sharp and full bitter flavoured beer lovers. The true beer for groups of friends who can label it : “It’s one of us!”

Fľaša 500 ml z moravského supermarketu. Zlatá farba, nižšia biela, hustá pena, sladovo chmeľová aróma. Vyššia rezkosť, jemne sladovo chmeľová príjemná chuť, mierne vodové, na desinu O.K., v teple super.

Beer with light color, light bitterness, soft carbonized, (offered in 50cl bottle in Brno supermarket).

MarkoNm (2743) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - JUL 27, 2015
Pours a clear golden color, topped with a nice frothy white head, medium retention. Mild malty aroma with pronounced grassy notes. Sweet start, grassy/hoppy presence in the body and nice, refreshing and ejoyable bitterness in finish. Nothing spectacular, but nice and decent.

50cl bottle from a kiosk at the train station in Ceske Bud?jovice enjoyed at the train to Prague. Clear golden with a decent, white head. Rather grassy and somewhat herbal aroma with grainy notes. Moderate sweet and surprisingly grassy and herbal with a nice bitterness. Fairly light body with average carbonation, but surprisingly tasty and refreshing. A nice surprise for such a low alcohol content.

Zarkam (539) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 27, 2015
500ml bottle from supermarket near Brno. Clear gold colour, small mostly vanishing white head, little lacing. Moderately hoppy aroma of grass with light grains and white bread. Taste is initially mildly sweet with a hint of sourness, turning into a moderately bittersweet finish. Light to medium body, average carbonation, dryinsh mouthfeel. Fairly drinkable light lager, not exactly amazing but a really good lawnmower beer.

Cerveja de coloração dourada e de espuma razoável mas não persistente, com aroma bem acentuado de malte e com lúpulo bem presente no paladar.

Dark golden with a small white head. Grassy aroma. Sweet malty taste, very little bitterness, water body, short finish. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Cor dourada, brilhante. Espuma boa e baixa persistência. Aroma maltado. Paladar maltado com um toque de lúpulo e um retrogosto levemente amargo. Ótima drinkability.

geophagus (664) - Lubin, POLAND - MAR 10, 2015
(Bottle 0.5l) Pale straw colour. Small, white, medium to fast falling head. Light body, medium carbonation, watery texture. Aroma: Grassy hops, hay, light notes of grain, moderate skunky. Taste: watery, pale malts, moderate to medium strong, a bit dull bitternes. Medium long, bitter and hoppy finish. Very simple commercial example of czech pils.

ManVsBeer (10467) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2015
Keg @ Cask, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Has a small but decent lager malt nose but doesn’t transfer well into any taste.
