A "strong pilsner" that is not all that bad. Certainly not the best Czech beer in the world, but not terrible, either. It's a strong beer, with the alcohol well hidden. Very malty, hardly a hoppy note available. Head disappears quickly with some but not great lacing. bac080 (398) - Bloomington, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2003
Just awful. I didn't see it was a malt liquor until AFTER I took a drink. On a good note, at least I got to drink a Czech beer. JFGrind (2046) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2003
Maybe this beer should be marketed to the hip-hop generation and be renamed "Boomin' System". A overwhelming malt taste yet far smoother than any malt liquor I've ever had. Much better brew than the regular Boom beer. Allseeingeye (223) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 30, 2002
Light copper color. Medium pillowy head vanishes in minutes. Aroma of sweet malt and fruit. Malty, yet well balanced. Alcohol 8%, you would never guess. Clean crisp finish. urbnhautebourg (997) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - OCT 26, 2002
Rich malty concoction which I think buries the high (8%) alcohol content. Terribly smooth and alluring with a thick white head and fine lacing. Actually quite nice, really.

Went "BOOM" as soon as I popped the cap off. Thus, I had a little volcanic science fair project on my kitchen counter. Light copper color is deceiving, as the beer carries quite a bit of weight. Super-smooth and silky on the palate. Sweetish, lasting malt flavors with notes of apple and pear. Finishes somewhat dry and rather clean. Surprisingly tasty and well-made. Have to say, I was rather impressed.
