09-10-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in Bratislava, Slovakia).
The looks the beer are lovely. They are exactly like they should be. The beer is almost black, thats how dark it is. In the light a lovely perfect ruby red glow can be seen. The beer seems rather clear. On top of the beer lovely layer of brown soft foam is formed. Foam retention is really good. I like it.
The smell of the beer is nice. Not the strongest nor the best smelling Porter, but it is nice. I smell some sweet malts and a bitter hop touch. Most of the smell is filled by nice aromas of dark and red fruit. I smell strong cherry, raspberry, some plum. Mostly raspberry though. They give a nice sweet acidity to the smell. Nice.
In the taste this fruitiness comes back. I taste nice sweet 'n sour raspberry, some cherry and a nice plum touch. There are also nice malts, with a slight chocolaty touch to it. Also some liquorice is there. Hops give a nice bitterness, but don't come with clear hoppy flavours. They are covered by the fresh fruits. The beer is quite sour for a porter, because of the sour fruits, but it remains well balanced. Although I suppose not everyone like it (I do luckily).
The palate of the beer is nice. The beer has a nice full body, smooth texture and medium carbonation. The sourness of the fruits gives a nice tingle on the tongue. I like it. The finish of the beer is nice. It contains, again, nice refreshingly sour 'n sweet raspberry, some chocolate malts and a bitter touch of hops. Also some liquorice is there. Nice. Not a regular Porter as I'd expect, but quite a fruity Porter. Very nice though. MartinNaxera (89) - Pilsen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 5, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 5, 2017 Why not... Very sweet one. Tastes like plums, so it's definitely a Czech taste. DejanSt (277) - SLOVAK REPUBLIC - OCT 3, 2017

Deep brown to black with beige head. Aroma of malt and coffee. Tastes bit bitter, malty, some coffee beans. Nothing extraordinary but okay.

Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: kruidig, noterig, doet zelfs denken aan nootmuskaat. Verrassend aangenaam bier. Piepenhenrich (1226) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2017
That's a good Porter, living up to the good tradition of Dark/Black beers in the region. seymour (2120) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - AUG 27, 2017
Labelled "Craft Boom of Bardubice Porter Special", poured from bottle into nonic pint glass an opaque dark brown colour, reddish when held to light, with sudsy beige foam, lasting with a little lace. Super malty, grainy, lots of residual sweetness but not sticky/cloying, bready, nutty, caramelly, toffee, molasses. Low hop bitterness and flavour, but a hint of noble, black peppery spice. More like a Baltic Porter than regular London Porter or Schwarzbier. Full body, moderate carbonation, long-lasting malty aftertaste. Good stuff.
