Brewed with Louisiana sugarcane! A new Louisiana tradition in the works. Crisp and easy to drink, this sparingly hopped American wheat focuses attention on the understated sweet remnants of sugarcane.

Tap at kingfish in NOLA. Light copper with small white head. Subtle aroma, due to small head maybe. Sweet, easy to drink. Nothing bad here, but not above average.

Tap at BMC. Hazy dark orange color. Light white head. Light fruity aroma. Soft wheat. Easy. Nice wheat tones. Citrus. Good finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Avenue Pub, NOLA, 30.4.16. Clear gold. Very faint and oxidized aroma. Oxidized, malty taste. Light body and faint butter aftertaste. Drinkable, but has nothing to do with witbier. Perhaps bad tap?

PanMarek (447) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 4, 2016
On tap. Cloudy golden / orange pour with creamy foam. Elements of spice (pepper) in the nose and some citrus. Moderate sweetness, muted citrus hops bitterness. Spices up front and the finish is a little thin. Medium to light body. The sugar cane was certainly understated.

gripweed57 (2462) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUN 23, 2016
12 ounce bottle. Pours an amber gold color. Slight foamy white head. Sweet malt nose with hints of citrus. Flavor is sweet malt with grassy notes. Light body and flavor. Some wheat notes, though not the typical banana and cloves you expect. Refreshing and drinkable, though nothing special.

GenDV138 (7285) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JUN 2, 2016
4 oz pour on draft at Meridian Pint during the SAVOR Week event. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, malt. Tastes of malt, stone fruit, citrus, wheat. Light body with a dry finish.

solidfunk (8964) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 1, 2016
Rather boring. Light cranberry but not a lot. Crisp empty finish. Golden pour without much head or lacing. Tap at meridian pint.

Exactly what you’d expect. A golden, almost amber, color; light bodied but with a richer flavor from the sugarcane, and very pleasant to drink.

Carlisle (745) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2016
Draft in NOLA. Pours dark gold with thick white head that dissipates quickly. Caramel and bready flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

fordest (2470) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - MAY 3, 2016
Draft at New Orleans Hamburgers and Seafood. Much clearer than I had expcected. Wheat twang on the flavor and a standard aroma. Just not the kind of beer I like.
