Aroma - lots of hop notes but thats about it on the nose - lots of citrus notes. Tastes - not very complex, lots of bitterness from the hops, citrus finish. Pretty long finish, well-carbonated. Good, but nothing super exciting.

Although the body is light and not as oily as many IPAs, the flavor is big, crisp, and very drinkable.

PorterPounder (7766) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 16, 2016
Newport News, Va - Total Wine & More - 12 oz bottle. Hazy, medium golden pour, soapy, snow white head with a solid film of lacing, Aroma has in interesting vanilla twist to it underlying the typical IPA spruciness. Flavor is full-bodied, some caramel sweetness at first, a hint of the same vanilla, citrus bitterness and some spearmint spiciness lingering around in the back end. Mouthfeel is pleasantly thick. Pretty decent.

bubbleflubber (2207) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Growler from the brewery, this pours a translucent orange-amber into the glass with a nice 3-finger foamy head that leaves chunky webbed lacing. The nose is a nice mixture of floral, acidic citrus and pine notes. Upfront in the mouth, there are hints of orange and grapefruit, followed by a reserved caramel sweetness, breadiness, and finishing with fresh pine needles, citrus rind/peel and spruce bitters that linger appropriately, all subtly and wonderfully integrated. Definitely substantial and medium-full bodied, the provided quaff is extremely easy with a medium-active palate. This complex, yet easily drinkable IPA is a brewery staple-hold that has certainly put Parkway Brewing on the map, Delicious!
