COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An aggressive, tropical NZ hopped aroma gives way to the rich, copper coloured malt base and a huge lingering bitterness to finish. In an ode to its ancestors, weve used all English malts in the grist and a bold English bittering hop in the boil.

2016-05-30. Dark amber body with a nice beige head. 3+ Aroma of caramel malt, mild hop character. Flavour is fairly bitter up front, green hops and moderate fruit and green hops over a strong caramel malt base. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Tasty but much too malty for my preference for an IPA. 7/4/7/3/1415 Sampled at/bottle from Parrotdog, Wellington, NZ.

Pours a reddish copper color. Aroma is filled with floral and tropical hops. A rather heavy malt profile with toffee sweetness notes. The aggressive hop finish is the strong point though. Think passion fruit and orange blossoms. Really good but closer to a double IPA.

Pyobon (1360) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 1, 2016
(Bottle) Pours hazy amber brown with big dense pale tan head. Lovely aroma, mainly pine with hints of citrus. Medium body with plenty of nice soft carbonation. Great taste, with plenty going on. Theres pleasant light toffee sweetness apparent at the start. Refreshing fruity flavours emerge and a replaced with a developing hoppy bitterness that lasts.

Aroma of citrus and hops, pours a clear copper color with an off white lasting head with nice lacing. The bitterness somewhat overwhelms the taste and you just get a hint of oily resin, malt and citrus. Full bodied oily feel with a lasting bitter finish.

Poured from tap. Dark copper. Medium head. I picked this beer off of its name. Its quite enjoyable exceeded my expectations. - a good hop and malt mix which leaves lingering bitterness

Interesting this gets a better rating than the Bloodhound. Id drink the Bloodhound over this, but it is still a good beer. Pours, a clear copper colour with a beige head that hangs around nicely. I dont get the aroma that many others have in their reviews. To me mostly grassy pine. Medium body that does come through with a bitter punch at the end. Overall, good not great. Go the Bloodhound.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell - London. Cheers to Big Dave! Pours clear, reddish gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds light grapefruit and pien. Light to medium sweet flavor, a little earthy, with bitter citrus rind and dry bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately dry on the finish, with notes of citrus, bread and pine. Not bad.

Tap at Mikkeller Tokyo. Earthy, citra, twigs, citrus. Taste is pretty bitter, very earthy again. Not so sure about this.
