330ml bottle (exp 19/1/17) purchased from First Choice Liquor in Cairns. Pours hazy deep amber with a decent sized off-white head showing good retention and lace. I get fresh pine needles, bitter blood oranges, grapefruit, and a hint of earthiness on the nose and tongue balanced by a mild biscuit malt base. Palate is certainly hop forward and bitter with the earthy and bitter citrus notes coming through at the very end. Medium bodied with an oily texture and average carbonation. One of the best Australasian IPAs out there. cgarvieuk (24793) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 17, 2016

Poured a clouded coppery-amber colour with a one- to two-finger off-white frothy head that retained very well and laced OK. Carbonation low, soft and medium. Aroma dominated by nice strong pine with caramel malt undertones. Taste of pine and slight grapefruit with caramel/toffee notes; nicely hops-driven. Light to medium body. Crisp and slightly dry with a lingering bitterness on the finish. Nice. explosivedog (1288) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 16, 2016
330ml bottle. Aroma is all pine and bubblegum hops. Flavour is the same. Pleasantly bitter with some interesting flavour on the way. TuiSamesi (16) - NEW ZEALAND - AUG 30, 2016
Suffers from excess hopping and nowhere as good as a cold Tui East India Pale Ale.

A full-bodied IPA with a really nice aroma of grapefruit, peach, pine resin, honey and lychee. The bitterness is balanced in the mouth with a little bread and honey. Perhaps a slight wateriness is the only downside. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 30, 2016

2016-05-30. Dark amber body with a nice beige head. 3+ Aroma of caramel malt, mild hop character. Flavour is fairly bitter up front, green hops and moderate fruit and green hops over a strong caramel malt base. Average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Tasty but much too malty for my preference for an IPA. 7/4/7/3/1415 Sampled at/bottle from Parrotdog, Wellington, NZ. mmargarucci (343) - Basel, SWITZERLAND - JUN 6, 2016
Pours a reddish copper color. Aroma is filled with floral and tropical hops. A rather heavy malt profile with toffee sweetness notes. The aggressive hop finish is the strong point though. Think passion fruit and orange blossoms. Really good but closer to a double IPA. Pyobon (1417) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 1, 2016
(Bottle) Pours hazy amber brown with big dense pale tan head. Lovely aroma, mainly pine with hints of citrus. Medium body with plenty of nice soft carbonation. Great taste, with plenty going on. There’s pleasant light toffee sweetness apparent at the start. Refreshing fruity flavours emerge and a replaced with a developing hoppy bitterness that lasts.
