COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An aggressive, tropical NZ hopped aroma gives way to the rich, copper coloured malt base and a huge lingering bitterness to finish. In an ode to its ancestors, weve used all English malts in the grist and a bold English bittering hop in the boil.

(Bottle) Very good beer. Nice amber colour, rich thick head. You can almost smell the bitterness as soon as you open the bottle (as well as weed). The taste is excactly what you would expect from the name "BitterBitch". Almost like liquid hop with just a little fruitiness in the background. Very nice IPA!

High bitterness, good malt body to hold it up. The bitterness is the focus though. Aroma is mainly malty but with a good amount of hop aroma. The beer is focused and out of a bottle, is very hard to beat. These guys have a bright future in the industry if they can knock a few more beers like this out.

On tap at the Fork & Brewer in Wellington in Dec. 2013. Body displays coarse carbonation; medium clear amber with a fairly durable bone head. Feel: Medium+ body; near medium carbonation; smooth O: Bitter indeed, but not without aromatic hops too.

Commercial descriptor is very fair and accurate. Bitterness is very obvious but well controlled. Toffee malts kick in late, lending a layer of sweetness.

Amber pour, slightly hazy, with an off white, decent head. Malt, pineapple, mango aromas. Big malty taste, then follows through with pine and fruity bitterness. Really like it - very balanced.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, biscuity notes, citrus with plenty of hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a solid bitter hop finish. Damn good stuff.

The head is good, the body brown-orange. It smells hoppy, bit bitter, malty, aromatic, fruity. The taste is malty, intensive hoparomatic, fruity, bitter. Good 12/13/12/12/-/12

330ml bottle from Archive. My first ever Parrot Dog beer as Id read about the Bitch before. Nice IPA with a very hoppy taste and just the right amount of malt. Nice aroma. Good linger on the palate with the bitterness as described that stays with you. A very good IPA.
