the Orange aroma shocks the nose every time, the nice amount of bittery hops is nice, and I’d easily go aonother, and I think this would fit will with some tasty food, as it would bring something to the deal.
500ml bottle. Pours a dark amber with off white head. Strong malty nose with hints of citrus. Medium body with the predominant malt flavours again and a lingering zesty citrus finish. Skarecrow (744) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - APR 19, 2017
Red amber with good head.
Malty aroma with subtle fruity hop note.
Mild bitterness. Quite sweet biscuit malt palate.
Nice one. floydian1 (1463) - FNQ, Australia, - NOV 12, 2016
Tap in Melbourne (BBC, Eureka Tower). A superior amber ale with toasty nutty caramel malts and a decent citrusy/piney dry hop bitterness to the finish. Clean malty medium-bodied palate. Nice balance. ABV well hidden. explosivedog (1179) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 16, 2016
330ml bottle. Aroma is all spicy hops and a little pine. Flavour is big pine, then spice and toast. Decent. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 30, 2016
[8396-20160530] Tap. Grainy fruit aroma. Clear, orange red body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head and some lacing. Fruity grains malt flavour has a light sweet finish that doesn’t linger. Medium body. Good, nice balance. (7/4/8/3/15) 3.7

2016-05-30. Dark red-brown body, nice head. 3+ Aroma of malt and moderate fruity hop character. Flavour starts with a sweet malt introduction but finishes on the dry side, moderate bitterness and fruity hops. Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. I’d almost prefer this over the Bitterbitch if in a malty mood. Surprisingly quaffable. 7/4/7/3/14-15 Sampled at Parrotdog, Wellington, NZ. tombutlin (313) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 16, 2015
This is a fine Red IPA, with a distinctly tan coloured head and amber hue. Citrus hop aroma and fine malt heart. My only quibble is that the aroma vanished after a couple of sips JoshRaburn (118) - - NOV 18, 2015
Very hoppy US style ale. Kind of similar to brewdog’s Old Pony Club I think (the best of BD’s range imo). Nice balance of malt and citrus sharp hops. Rangi (672) - NEW ZEALAND - OCT 30, 2015
Poors a very nice clear dark copper. Aroma is of slight fruity hops and roasted grain. Taste is nice full body with a smooth but lingering bitterness. Tasty crisp filling beer. willisread (3341) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 13, 2015
Shared a tasting (Thanks Eric!). Clear copper with a small white head. Huge mango nose with some pineapple, peach and papaya. Juicy tropical fruit with some light caramel and toffee as it warms up on the palate. Nice bitterness, but not overly so but a very hoppy amber. Crisp and clean finish. Excellent amber.
