UPDATED: JAN 5, 2017 On tap at Smiths. Lots of peach, little caramel. Simple, light but really quite tasty. An excellent lower alcohol option.

Bottle from Greenslopes Cellars 181016. The low alcohol content of this beer belies the aroma, flavour and appearance because this is simply put - one very tasty and fine looking beer. Well balanced with the the right level of hops to provide a sweet fruity finish.

[8424-20160531] Tap. Lightly toasted grassy grains aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Lightly bittered toasted grains and mild lemons hints in the flavour. Light-medium body. Good, simple. (6/3/7/3/13) 3.2

2016-05-31. Lightly hazy golden orange body with a moderate off-white head and lace. Aroma is muted, pale malt and light fruit. Flavour is similar, muted overall mild fruit, lightly cereally malt. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Okay, just overly mild. 6/3/6/3/12 On tap at 16 Tuns, Auckland, NZ.

Bottle from Sake no Tanichiguchi. Parrot Dog Clipper Ale 3.5% Starting the day off easily with a 3.5% session ipa from Parrot Dog in New Zealand called Clipped Wing. Its a deep gold with a fluffy light beige head and a juicy fruity hop bouquet. Med-light bodied with a pleasing bitting bitterness that delivers notes of pine and tropical fruits as well as a bit of crackery light malts. Good stuff, I love the low ABV.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Pithy, resiny nose with some orange and grapefruit notes. Active carbonation, light bodied with a little graininess on the palate. Dry, bitter finish. Decent and just enough body to keep the low abv interesting. Good session APA.

Gets the balance right here. Enough fruity, citrus hop aroma to excite and a body to back it up. Not too overpowering for the senses or the alcohol level, so makes a great option if driving is required.

Pours a clear, light copper with fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Big hop aroma: Pine and grapefruit (rind and juice). Flavour doesnt quite back up the aroma, but coming from its 3.5% limit, it makes a decent go at it. Some caramel malt sweetness accented with citrusy hops that border on grassy. An intense bitterness comes in to dry things out before the short finish.
