A zesty New Zealand-hopped aroma precedes a pale, flaxen coloured English malt base and a quenching New Zealand-hopped bitterness in the tail. A refreshingly local take on a classic style.

Vannerator (23) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 24, 2015
Bottle from supermarket. Pours slightly hazy sunny yellow with white head, some lacing. Citrus, honey, spruce on the nose, and delicious lemony, malty, honey, hoppy flavour. Very quaffable and light, but enough flavour to keep you interested. Sweet up front with a moderately bitter hop aftertaste. Very nice.

Davros (3338) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2015
Pours pale amber with a small head. Nose shows light malt and soft spicy, floral and lightly fruity hops. Similar flavours, some biscuity malt, more spicy, herbal and floral hops.

Disappointing. There’s actually nothing wrong with this, it is just a bit middle-of-the-road and dull, and certainly not worth the price. I tasted this immediately after a ParrotDog BitterBitch (fantastic beer), and it was a distant 2nd. Golden ale with barely discernible hops and mild malt taste. I should have tried this before the BitterBitch and may then have rated it better

Pours clear gold with a white head. Flavor is grain malt with a solid hop bite on the finish. This would be a great summer refresher.

mkel07 (6545) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 27, 2014
Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique September 2013. This is an easy drinking middle of the road golden ale that refreshes the palate with it zesty fruitiness.

3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2013 Draft sample followed by a full bottle. Unfiltered gold body with a fine white head. It’s a bright and vibrant aroma of lemon zest, citrus pith, white pepper, sulfur / minerals. Malt presence is mild but provides a comforting warm baked sourdough bread quality. Dry, tart, lean, bitter with lip-smacking hop acids, soft malt and carbonation and the yeast adds further creaminess to the body. A+ for this unfiltered hoppy golden ale.

Unm4rk3d (89) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - OCT 29, 2013
There is a earthy/hay type aroma and pours a golden clear colour. Light sweet taste to a light bitter finish. Easy drinking beer.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 9, 2013
The head is good, the body blond. It smells a bit fruity, more flowery, bitter. The taste is flowery, bitter-refreshing, fresh, nice.

floydian1 (1518) - FNQ, Australia, - OCT 3, 2013
Bottle (330ml) from Beer Cartel, Sydney. Bright golden pour with decent white head that reduces to a stable collar. I get hoppy lemony aromas with traces of pineapple on top of a golden malt base. Tastes like a decent hoppy Summery Golden Ale with lemony finish and moderate bitterness. Pleasant refreshing smooth palate.

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 7, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Nose is lots of hay and light pepper. Taste is pretty much the same. Solid but a boring style
