33cl bottle thanks to Scopey. Color is orange to brown. Head is medium and white. Body is mediumly soft. Taste is medium to high bitter and low sour. Aroma is cereal, alcohol, fruity and some wood.
Bottle from the brewery. Had this a couple of years. Clear rich rusty orange, some haze when the yeast comes out of the bottle, no head. Nose is caramel, barley sugar, pine, earthy, raisin, citrus peel. Taste is caramel, sweet barley sugar, yeast extract, touch of saltiness, acidic, pine, earthy, touch of oxidisation, damp cellar, raisin. bitter hop still in there, orange peel. It’s not as bold as some barley wines. Taste is a little restrained. tderoeck (10002) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 14, 2015

Copper, hazed, white head. Smell of caramel, honey, floral hops, light malts. Heavy sweet, quite mild, but with a good chunk of malt, herbal and floral. Medium bitter, resiny tail. Quite nice
Bottle, at Haand Festival. Orangey dark golden in color, topped by a dense, off-white head of fingerthick height. The aroma has a good dash of greens, but not in a DMS way. Some pine cones and sugar notes, and a touch of apricots. It’s sweet and bitter on the palate, with a nice carbonation. Full body. Greens, pine cones and apricots as well. Long sweet, bitter and lightly fruity finish. I’d be happy for more bitterness in this one, and I find too much greens both in aroma and flavor, still I think it’s a fine brew. 140524 cgarvieuk (25741) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 4, 2015
