Bottle 330ml.

Light unclear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, sweet hops, mammalade - mango, hop oil, resin notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, mango, sweet hoppy, mandarin - mamalade, initial very sweet and bitter, middle flavor then is very dry, finish then get very sweet and butter again. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO. a bit messy and maybe a litte home brew alike ! [20130118]

Columbus, Cascade, Bravo version. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy, slightly soft. Creamy malt, llght. Lovely fresh hops - flavoursome but not too bitter. A little fresh orange. Mild floral notes and tropical fruits with mango most noticeable. Mellow hop skunk. Subtle lemon tang underneath. Very Kernel like and that is high praise!

Leighton (21085) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle shared at CPK London - many thanks to Paul. Big citrus nose, some pectin sugars. Medium sweet flavor with grapefruit, melon, pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly warming finish with some resinous pine, sweet citrus, orange rind. Very good stuff on the whole.

Bottle at the Cask, Pimlico, 18/01/13, split with Chris, Jan and Charlotte. Hazed mid amber with a thin off white head. Nose carries a big dose of pine, dank hops, citrus, bitter grapefruit, peppery tones. Taste comprises hops, pine, citrus, grass, grapefruit, mineral tones. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, bitterness in the dryish finish. Decent enough but could be have been a 3.8/9 for me with a little more attention.

TBone (17440) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 19, 2013
Slightly hazy amber-orange color, small steady white head. Aroma has citrus and pine, quite dry woody. Medium-bodied. Front is sweetish fruity, then quite resiny and aggressive finish. Lingering hoppyness with some sweetier notes. Nice hop combination.

Bottle sample at a tasting at my place. Thanks Ido. Hazy golden. Lovely hoppy aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Dry-ish flavor with light sweetness and pleasant fruity hops with nice bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Scopey (14511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2013
Bottle, CP&K. IPA Columbus, Cascade, Bravo. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, Irn Bru, pine, some sweetness and some farmyard. The taste is pine, orange citrus, mango, Irn Bru, light metal and grass with a bitter-citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Somehow clearer and cleaner than Kernel using the same kit! Smooth, tasty and rather drinkable!

Bottle at the brewery. Lemon zest aroma. Nice chewy palete. Chalky bite at the end. Soft but firm bitterness.

jackl (8028) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Bottle from the legendary Kris Wines. The pour’s a light amber color with a modest white head. The aroma’s sticky tropical fruit salad. Brash mango and soft citrus. Some caramel and sharp green grass. The taste is summer fruit salad. Loads of salty sea grass, more mango, melon and citrus fruits. Chewy, sturdy malt body. Aggressively bitter finish. Robust body, this certainly wears its ABV. Overall, a pretty great big IPA.
