Bottle at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a beautiful hazy golden with a sticking white roof. Wow - boom. Maybe ’boom’ is going a bit far, but this was certainly a delicious beer as far as moi is concerned (which I am). Proper lengthy hops which coat the tongue and throat. Zinging flavours, super balance. The taste grows and grows. jamestulloch (4148) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 12, 2013
Aroma: Dry, dusty hops with a stunning aroma of orange, lime and light caramel.

Appearance: Murky amber body with a thick off-white head. Excellent lacing.
Taste: Lovely clean flavours of citrus, pine, yeast and caramel. It tastes Kernel-esque, so I wasn’t surprised to learn that they brewed using Kernel’s kit. The bottle I’m drinking from says 6.9%. There’s barely a hint of the alcohol at all; this is very easy drinking. Lingering bitterness.
Palate: Medium body, oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: The first beer I’ve had from this brewery - and it definitely won’t be the last. An excellent yeasty, hoppy IPA with a cool label, too. If I have one criticism (and it’s not easy to find one) I think this beer would be perfect if it had slightly more malt character.

Columbus, Cascade, Bravo version. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy, slightly soft. Creamy malt, llght. Lovely fresh hops - flavoursome but not too bitter. A little fresh orange. Mild floral notes and tropical fruits with mango most noticeable. Mellow hop skunk. Subtle lemon tang underneath. Very Kernel like and that is high praise!
Bottle at the brewery. Lemon zest aroma. Nice chewy palete. Chalky bite at the end. Soft but firm bitterness. Cunningham (8069) - Halden, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2013

Appearance: Cloudy orange color with a frothy off white head. Some curtain lacing.
Aroma: Nice grape hoppy and mild tropical fruity.
Palate: Medium plus body. Slightly sweet and a nice bitterness. Soft carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Fruity, mild caramel malty and balanced grape hoppy.
Overall impression: Tasty, powerful and lovely IPA.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with tommann.
It’s been a humdinger today, oh boy. Tomorrow, all being well, brings the promise of pie and ink. Although not together. They say that the worst feeling is when you’re finished, all done, but that’s someway off. I lack sweetness at the moment, much like this beer, but the bitterness sits well. I keep forgetting to ask Thomas, Moore or More? RichTheVillan (7905) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2013
Bottle at The Victoria; clear amber pour with frothy white head, big hop aroma, clean fresh hop taste, resinous mouthfeel very good IPA really like Partizan. spacecube (1732) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle, pours red brown, aroma of orange, grapefruit marmalade, nice tangy sweetness before a solid long bitterness comes through. Nice aftertaste. Crisp & refreshing. tomer (3564) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - APR 12, 2013
At a tasting, thanks Leighton, small stable head, hazy orange colour, aroma is a melange of herbs, with light pine notes, citrus and orange blossom, flavour of lemon, pomello, herbs and tobacco, wIth just a touch of bread in the back, strong but extremely mellow bitterness. Very very good IPA. Scopey (14946) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2013
Bottle, CP&K. IPA Columbus, Cascade, Bravo. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, Irn Bru, pine, some sweetness and some farmyard. The taste is pine, orange citrus, mango, Irn Bru, light metal and grass with a bitter-citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Somehow clearer and cleaner than Kernel using the same kit! Smooth, tasty and rather drinkable!
