Draught Huge, dense white head over fully hazy pale golden beer. Very dry, but aromatic C-hops, dry hopbales, dried lemonpeel, straw. Dry flavour, flowery, immortelles, slightly spicy. Discreet, but excellent balance. Finish has a strange, dry haylike sweetness, that doesn’t spoil anything. Well-carbonated, slick & smooth, medium bodied. Very good PA, but English style, IMO!

Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Aprill 2014, The Fox’s Knocker, London (£ 2,50), 33 cl.

Backlog rating. 33cl bottle from the BD Shoreditch. It pours a slightly hazy pale golden colour with 1 figer of white soapy head. Aroma is huge fruity citrusy notes, with grapefruits as well. Taste is quite bitter. Still very citrusy, light pine hops. Lasting bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium with soft to medium carbonation. Good

Bottle from Metro Wines, Syston, Leics. big, foamy head. Fresh, natural tasting. Tastes hazy, but don’t look hazy. Earthy flavour, alongside the leafy, fresh hops. Nice.

Bottle at the Partizan Brewery, Bermondsey on 15 February 2014. Poured a pale golden colour with a medium, white head and some lacing. Aroma of soft fruit, caramel and cereals. Grassy hop flavours with some light citrus bitterness and a malty backbone. Finish was spruce bitterness, straw and a slightly floral note.

Bottle at Bruce’s Birthday batch @Craft Islington. It pours hazy gold with a thick white head. The nose is juicy pine, resin, toast, grapefruit, white grape skin and sherbet. The taste is crisp, minerals, orange, passion fruit, kumquat, fruit salad sweets, five alive and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Well-rounded, fruity and very drinkable.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s birthday. Colour is light amber, slight haze. Nose is really fruity, lots of sticky tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, with lemon and grapefruit, slight minerally. Taste is fruit forward, tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, little bit if tingly pine on the finish too. Very nice pale ale.
