330 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a pint glass. Bottled on 01-10-2013. Golden canary yellow, wuite hazy, with a nice slughtly off white head, fluffy and persistent. Oh yes I can smell the Citra, perhaps my favourite hop variety. Tons of tropical fruits, citrus, just a hint of resin and pale malts. Quite strong bitterness in the mouth, but very pleasent, ending with a citrusy forward and piney aftertaste, like chewing a few seconds on some pine needles. Creamy texture and light body, maybe lighter than I was used to, but that makes it so crisp and easy to drink, also thanks to the carbonation which is spot on. Extremely good, and so far my favourite from the pale ale batches. mR_fr0g (13154) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2014
Bottle at home from Cotteridge wines. Lovely aroma of lemon rind and lemongrass, with good mixed bag of tropical fruit, lychee and orange parfumme stand out. Translucent yellowstraw pour with a nice lasting white froth. Flavour is clean straw cereal malt with a grassy, orange, lemon hop. Bitterness is big and clean in the rear and lingers with a touch of lemon. Palate is light and dusty with a moderately high carbonation. Overall very pleasing, delivers a big hop hit. Bitterness is slightly overdone for my taste. tiong (7513) - Espoo, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2014
