KyotoLefty (10810) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 20, 2013
Bottle at the brewery. Nose of grassy hops and lemon. Pale gold, cloudy. Sweet flavor of lemon and orange, grass, pepper. Nice peppery finish. Decent.

mabel (10004) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2014
[6169-20140131] Bottle. Grainy dry grassy cereal aroma. Slightly hazy, pale yellow lime body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter citrus bar flavour has quite a concentrated bitter bite. Medium body is quite bitter. Interesting. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

33cl bottle from the brewery. It pours clear light golden with a minimal white head. Aroma is intensely hoppy and all on the fruity sweet-ish side of the coin. No piny notes but strong apricots and pineapple. Taste is quite sweet for an APA as well but intense bitter at the same time and well balanced. More fruit comes through alongside some resiny and biscuity notes. Medium bodied with silky texture and low carbonation. Very balanced and refreshing, but very close to an IPA in complexity and depth of flavors (and ABV as well). Good and fruity.

[Bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o HogTownHarry] Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a spare diminishing white head. Aroma of fruit and hops along with some herbal notes and citrus. Flavour is fruity, herbal, malty and hoppy. Dry, moderately bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good.

HogTownHarry (7086) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - AUG 25, 2013
August 24, 2013 - 330ml bottle consumed at the brewery. Hazy light gold - no floaties - smallish white head. Resin/pin C-hop with citrus zest, lightly fruity, not much alcohol. Taste - lemon and something elderflower-like (bitter and herbal), less resin. Average body, medium carbonation, very dry finish, tries to coat the palate with grapefruit pith bitterness, doesn’t quite hold it - bump it one point for massive drinkability, like all the beers I tried from them.

Bottle at home from ales by mail
Hazy pale burnished gold. Some grapefruit pith on nose. Dry with quinine bitterness, some sweet malt and fruity finish but lost the hop freshness in its old age.

jamestulloch (4423) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 29, 2013
Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy pale golden body with a medium white head. Very light carbonation. Excellent carbonation. Aroma of pineapple cake, mango and yeast. Mild flavour of lemons, minerals and yeast. Medium body with a oily, almost creamy mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. A lovely, subtle American Pale Ale.

shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 12, 2013
Bottle at the brewery. Pale blond, small white head. Aroma is spicy, big citrus, bit herbal, mulled wine fruitiness. Taste is good, not so bitter, nice fruitiness, grainy, bit creamy too. Pretty good. Bit tropical.

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 10, 2013
Bottle from Utobeer. Pours straw yellow with a small white head. Huge yeast strain floaty thing running through the middle of the beer. Weird. I get a lot of tangy orange and weak floral hops in this. Not sure if a little old or just not my thing. Didn’t enjoy unfortunately
