Cloudy pale yellow colour with a tiny white head.
Sweetness, citrus, ice cream and mild hops in the aroma.
The flavour is not very strong. Mild citrus, mild bitterness, grass and some malt in there. Short bitterness in the aftertaste. Passable.
330 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a tulip glass. Bottled on 05-09-2013. Pours a golden orange colour, quite hazy. Not much head, just a lasting ring of big bubbles. Initial aroma of herbal hops, pine needles and bubblegum upfront, followed but a touch freshly cut grass, caramel/toffee and something else which I can’t really detect. Could it be infamous "cat pee" ? I don’t know, but it’s a unique aroma nonetheless. The bitterness is very mild and hidden. Light in body, almost watery with a moderate carbonation. Smooth and drinkable, certainly pleasent I imagine during the spring/summer, but that smell is a bit off-putting. Perhaps I should try more Pacific Jade single hops to investigate.. Cask at Union Tavern, Westbourne, London, consumed Friday 13th December 2013 Pale hazy gold with white head. Clean refreshing subtle nose a little flash of lemony ice cream but again just a little. Quite a contrast when consumed alongside Lozs’ Tap East IPA which Loz is now on her third one. Back to the Partizan, nice level of carbonation, nice hoppy bite, a little buzz, its very nice A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 Beersiveknown (5300) - NORTHERN IRELAND - DEC 10, 2013
