Hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is crispy and semi dry. Mild minerals. Thin malt base, touch of cream. Good hop this Wakatu! Here a nice blend of lemon, lime and grapefruit. Touch of floral character as well. Touch of sweeter fruits before the dry finish. Nice! Andy - please can we have a Wakatu IPA mate? Cheers!
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours hazy gold with a fine, white head. Sugary, ripening citrus fruits in the nose, light pine. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, some dry pine, rindy citrus, orange, grapefruit. Lightly bready pale malts, pine needles. Great stuff. Wonderful balance. harrisoni (18796) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2013
Bottle from the brewery. Hazy golden light brown coloour with a thick off white head. Tasty pale ale. Some nettle. Decent hoppy pale ale. Preferred the Amarillo one though. Scopey (14945) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2013
Bottle at Partizan. It pours cloudy pale orange with a medium white head. The nose is sweet orange tangy marmalade, squash and mango, as well as some floral/herbal notes coming though. The taste is soft fruit, orange, mango, some resin, touch of earth and saltiness even with a dry, lightly citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, juicy and very drinkable.
