Bottled. Pours hazy and golden with an average lacing, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, pineapple, citrus and flowers. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A nice and hoppy Saison.

EdKing (2648) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2014
Bottle from the brewery. Slightly past its sell by date but still looks and smells great. Huge insane foaming head on opening though! Very light pale amber, hazy, white head. Nose is lemon citrous, funky, saison yeast, acidic citrous, lemon peel, squeezed lemons, minerally, slight damp cellar. Taste is citrous lemon, slight sherberty, damp cellar (slight oxidisation), flinty minerals.

From tap @Haand Fest 13. Bright orangey golden body. Mid-sized foamy white head. Nice and inviting Citra Aroma; Grapefruit, mixed bag tropical, oranges and mild resin. Allo a whiff of fresh yeast and crisp malts. Medium full. Taste is fresh fruity, with citrus and tropical, yeast and a firm bitterness. Finishes dry and fruity-hoppy with a fine spicy twist. Good, indeed.

33cl Bottle, thanks Harmen! Hazy deep golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of lots of citrus, unripe mango, white wine, hint of funk, hay. Flavour is lovely refreshing citrus, yeast, passion fruit, nice floral malt backbone, hay, good citrus bitter finish, grapefruit. Light to medium-bodied, firm carbonation. Tasty stuff.

Bottle at home, thanks to Kenny for sourcing this one I clearly didn’t chug it on the train home after the Rainbow day event during which I reached a fair level of merriment, 04/11/13. Hazed orange amber with a bog old white head, this ones a slow gusher, still rising to the top when almost half poured ! Nose is citric fruit, fresh hop notes, bitter orange, grassy, light spice. Taste comprises orange sherbet, lemon zest, earthy hop notes, straw, farmy, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy bitter notes in the finish. Decent saison.
