330ml bottle. Pours a very hazy light gold with a large head. Aroma is pineapple, basil and a touch of bread. Taste is sweet, with funky basil to start. Pissy finish. Cracking. stravale (3145) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - JUN 10, 2013

Amber, hazy, big frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma - big fruity grapefruit hop, grapefruit zest, lemon, sharp zest, tropical fruits, mango, complex citrus fruits, bit of yeast, pungent very intense fruity nose, so fresh, fantastic fruity aroma
Taste - tangy citrus, grapefruit, smooth cereal malt, dab of yeast, sweet tangy zesty citrus, juicy citrus, alcohol well hidden, really good saison, works well with the huge amount of citrus
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, very tangy palate. Finish as main flavour, superb citrus fruity linger
Overall - Stunning beer - the aroma nearly hit a 10 for me
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy yellow-gold, fairly effervescent, with a moderate, frothy white head. The nose definitely holds some funky brett, a bit of poo, some tangy tangerine. Light sweet flavor with dry funk, some mellow grassy bitterness, drying tangerine, hints of grapefruit, a bit of manure, some white grapes. Light to medium bodied with average to lively, massaging carbonation. Somewhat dry to finish, mildly warming, more poo, light grassy bitterness, grapefruit and tangerine, some alcohol, subtle grass and minerals. Great stuff, quite dynamic and punchy. Good one. jamestulloch (4415) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 8, 2013
Aroma: Pungent aroma of freshly cut grapefruit, lemon and orange sherbet.
Inbreak (6709) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - MAY 26, 2013
Appearance: Murky pale golden body with tiny yeast flecks floating around. Large head that looks like whipped egg whites. Lively lacing. Excellent carbonation.
Taste: Sharp lemon, zesty grapefruit flavour and a hint of yeast. Delicious balance between the sweet yeast and the bitter, citric hop.
Palate: Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Average carbonation fizz.
Overall: A fantastic Saison - a fantastic hop - a fantastic brewery.

Big fizzy longlasting head. Aroma is very fresh, lots of grapefruit, yeast, passion fruit, hay, dried fruits. Taste is fresh fruity, tropical fruits, grass, hay, wood, citrus peel. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Very refreshing.
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Smells grrrrreat. Thick, smooth haziness. Has a hard dryness to the end, like the taste in your throat after rinsing the vomit from your gob. But in a good way. Really fruity. Like a lot-ot-ot-ot. MannyGoldberg (259) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Bootle from Bambuni- 31st May 2013. You can smell the citra as soon as you pop the cap. Glowing golden colour with decent head retention. Full dry mouthfeel. Loads of sweet citrus flavours that give way to the yeast but not immediately (at first I thought this tasted like a pale ale). Strong hay elements in the backed. Wasn't convinced on first couple of mouthfuls but my mind very definitely changed as time went on. Another winner from Partizan.
