330 ml bottle.Mortlach (2347) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 26, 2013
Pours a clear pale yellow colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, strong ginger and some herbal notes. Flavour of floral hops, ginger, herbs, tart citrus, hay, biscuit and grapefruit. Light bodied, high carbonation and a crisp, citrusy finish with some ginger burn. What a great refreshing light saison.
22/06/2013 330ml bottle shared by Theydon_Bois (thanks Colin!) Beer5000 (6492) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 24, 2013
Sampled @ Haand 2013. Hazy pale orange body with a white head. Mild, but pleasant aroma of citric fruit and more spicy than the regular Grisette, like ginger, pepper and soap (coriander?). Flavor is mild malt, fruity and spices like found in aroma. Medium body and nice aftertaste with same flavor as main test, but a bit more obvious pepper. Nice Sasion. Bottle, Theydon Bois Roma Pre-Nuptuals Tasting at Ma Che, 22/06/13. Thanks to Josh for bagging me this one.
Hazed light golden with an off white head. Good lacing ensues.
Nose is grass, citrus, farmy, yeast notes, spice, orange peel.
Taste comprises lemon zest, herbal qualities, pinch of spice, bitter orange, grass, farmyard, earthy.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp refreshing palate cleansing finish.
Another great saison from Partizan. harrisoni (18579) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2013
Bottle from the brewery drunk at home. Well the pepper certainly comes through and a little ginger. Certainly spicy on the finish with good hoppiness too. Mostly pepper is what I get on this. Some almost soapy saison flavour. Enjoyable I felt.

330ml bottle. Filmy golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy aroma has notes of ginger, lime, a peppery touch, cilantro. Taste is initially minimally sweet, spicy, notes of ginger with a soapy touch, later more dry and sourish, hints of lime, cilantro, in the finish minimally peppery. Refreshing, well balanced, maybe slightly too soapy due to the ginger extra benefit. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2013

Hazy pale gold beer, decent white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Good fine carbonation. Light yeasty start. Light floral tones citrus, orange and a little lemon. Whisper of peppery spice that really comes in to view in the aftertaste. Nice Saison if a little yeasty.
33cl bottle from the brewery. It pours a slightly hazy golden colour with 1 finger of white soapy head. Aroma is fresh and hoppy, quite zesty with notes of black pepper and spices. Taste is similarly light bitter with some floral hops and grass, some yeasts and bread, little in the way of funk. Overall, extremely tasty and refreshing. I have consumed more than my fair share of this....Bottles from Partizan. It pours pale yellow with a large white head. The nose is earth, straw, dough, spice and light citrus peel notes. The taste is smooth, straw, dough, crisp bitterness, ginger, pepper, light zesty citrus and faint underlying sweetness with a dry finish. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Utterly drinkable. Brilliant stuff. Leighton (21296) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2013
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours perfectly clear, yellow-gold, highly effervescent, with a large, pure white foam head. Lightly doughy and biscuity pale malts in the nose, hints of yeast, lemon, hints of sting suggestive of ginger. Light sweet flavor with further restrained, biscuity-doughy pale malts, touches of citrusy fruits here and there, background ginger. Light bodied with lively, mouth-filling carbonation. Clean finish with very light sweetness, mellow straw bitterness, less doughy malts now, further hints of ginger in the background. A very delicate but impressively nuanced beer. Great summer bevvie.
