Original version, green label. Very hazy pale gold beer, good white head. Light sourness on the snout. Airy, light and crispy palate. Minerals. Light zingy lemon and herb. Fresh and light minerally finish, semi dry. Pretty simple but tasty and refreshing.
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes strohgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr fruchtig, Gewürze, Citrus. Geschmack leicht säuerlich, exotische Früchte, Citrus, würzig. Leighton (22301) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle at home in London - procured from the brewery this morning. Pours clear, pale gold with a moderate, foamy white head; looks perfect. Nose holds some dry and crunchy cereal, wheat, yeast, hints of dry lemon. Light sweet flavor with semi-dry, doughy malts, mild toasty hay bitterness, light yeast, some lemon, hints of spices. Light bodied with fine, brisk carbonation. Clean finish, mild bitter hay and straw, dry and somewhat biscuity pale malts, cereal grains, dry yeasty dough, understated lemon and other citrus rind. Great beer from start to finish. I could certainly put back a few buckets of this liquid after a long day in the fields. Bottle split at the brewery, 30/03/13.
Lightly hazed pale yellow with a decent frothy white head.
Nose is yeasty, grass, funk, lemon, hint of spice.
Raste comprises lemon squash, grass, bready dough, earthy, farmy, spice.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry and crisp in the finish.
Great stuff in the ’trad’ saison vein.

Bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Funny, Grisette to me means sweet fruity Belgian beers. So don’t know what to expect from this. Pale gold with thin lasting white head. Soapy cereal aroma with a touch of vegetalness. A bit like a belgian wit in the mouth. Better in mouth than on aroma. it’s ok. Least impressive of the Partizan beers to date. Fine though. yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 26, 2013
On tap at Haand Festival 2012. It’s an unclear, orange-golden beer topped by a dense, small, white head. The aroma has some wheat and pale malt, citrus peel and the unmistakable touch of Belgian saison yeast. Faintly spiced in the far back. The flavor has some bitterness, just enough I think, as it’s quite dry, with citrus peel, pale malts and a little peppery twist. Lasting fruity finish. A very pleasant and quenching one, and it’s at a nice ABV-level as well. 130525 Scopey (15663) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle at Partizan. It pours hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, spice, herbal notes, light sweetness, peach and apricot. The taste is pithy citrus, lime, grapefruit, earth, dough, spice, herbal, nice level of bitterness and some soft fruit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, refreshing, well balanced and very easy drinking. This would be a great summer beer! gunnfryd (15256) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 3, 2013
