Leighton (21291) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle at home in London - procured from the brewery this morning. Pours clear, pale gold with a moderate, foamy white head; looks perfect. Nose holds some dry and crunchy cereal, wheat, yeast, hints of dry lemon. Light sweet flavor with semi-dry, doughy malts, mild toasty hay bitterness, light yeast, some lemon, hints of spices. Light bodied with fine, brisk carbonation. Clean finish, mild bitter hay and straw, dry and somewhat biscuity pale malts, cereal grains, dry yeasty dough, understated lemon and other citrus rind. Great beer from start to finish. I could certainly put back a few buckets of this liquid after a long day in the fields. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle at home. Slightly hazy dark yellow, frothy white head fades with some lacing. Slightly tart, lemon, slight vegetal, musky slightly juicy nose. Dry, muted cereal flavours, something slightly lemony tart, savoury malt richness, nice lightest peppery character. Long drying finish with just a hint of bitterness. Incredibly refreshing, could drink buckets of this! Spritzy full carbonation. Lovely stuff, very very impressed with this brewery. Mortlach (2347) - Rome, ITALY - JUL 6, 2013
06/07/2013 330ml bottle (thanks Theydon_Bois!). Dorata acida, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca media a grana fine, molto persistente. Al naso sentori di lieviti, spezie, camomilla, scorza di agrumi, molto delicata. In bocca ha un attacco di miele, dolciastra e un finale amaro e secco, delicata, molto bevibile ed elegante, anche se non perfettamente in stile. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft. Saison di ottimo livello qualitativo. Beesbeer (452) - WALES - JUL 19, 2013
Love it and love this brewery. Light and refreshing whilst being so full of flavour. Great for the 30 degree heat in the Welsh borders. Starts hay, moves to lemon tang, then onto vanilla grassy fruitiness. Ends a little bitter sherbert. Lovely 77ships (9828) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 22, 2013
33 cl. bottle sampled @ Kraddel does 1K tasting. Provided / obtained in a trade with Brigadier. Cheers. Bottled on 26/03/2013. Pours a bright citrus golden with very creamy white head. Nose is herbal with spicy hay hops, floral and barnyard notes, white pepper and hint of soap, spicy yeast. Taste is that of rich white bread spicy yeast, bitter hay and wild herbs, touch of soap in a good say, sunflower oil touch, white pepper, barn,.. Creamy white bread yeast body. Very nice and way better than the lemongrass version which seemed to have faltered.

Picked this up from Dave's beer stall at The Goods Shed in Canterbury. Very nice saison. Very carbonated. Slightly hoppy but not overly so. Clean very dry beer. Very nice. miquelcrush (2053) - Granollers, SPAIN - MAY 4, 2014
Cervesa molt refrescant i suau, però també un pel complexa.
Cerveza muy refrescante y suave, pero también un poco compleja. Scopey (14766) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle at Partizan. It pours hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, spice, herbal notes, light sweetness, peach and apricot. The taste is pithy citrus, lime, grapefruit, earth, dough, spice, herbal, nice level of bitterness and some soft fruit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, refreshing, well balanced and very easy drinking. This would be a great summer beer! Dommod2011 (706) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2013
Two beer Tuesday. Thought I was going to have to add this but the fella below obviously knew I’d screw it up and got there first. It’s good. It is pithy. It’s light and would be good in summer. That bloke below has stolen my review. Still, 10-8, it’s like a game of Sensible Soccer... Theydon_Bois (19537) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2013
Bottle split at the brewery, 30/03/13.
Lightly hazed pale yellow with a decent frothy white head.
Nose is yeasty, grass, funk, lemon, hint of spice.

Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry and crisp in the finish.
Great stuff in the ’trad’ saison vein.
