[330ml bottle, AlesbyMail] Pours slightly hazy golden amber, with a small, tight white head. The aroma is heavy on the barnyard, funky straw and some yeast. The taste has some of that, but more of the Belgian estery feel to it, some light pineapple and lemon fruit, pepper, a touch of spice. Finish is bitter-sweet and really very good

PALATE: medium body, thin feel, watery, lively, bitter,
OVERALL: smells sour, aroma nice, bit too much apricot, slightly too watery. richc (239) - Bolton, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAR 22, 2013
Aroma has a gentle lemony note with an earthy spiciness. Flavour adds a gentle malty sweetness and a refreshing bitterness and sharpness. Over all a very good but not outstanding beer. Having trouble finding the spices..... madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2013

Very hazy amber beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, crisp and semi dry. Lemon - lime base, mild milky sweetness and a good pinch of black pepper. Trace of perfumed spice. Finishes dry and tangy leaning toward mildly sour. Medium bitterness. Good stuff.
Bottle at home in London, picked up at the brewery. Pours very lightly hazy, deep gold with a fine, creamy white head. Plenty of wheat and yeast in the nose, hints of ripening citrus fruits, some doughy malts. Medium sweet flavor, some spicy yeast, doughy malts, light bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Clean, lightly drying to finish, doughy bread, dry orangey citrus. Solid saison. Great balance, very refreshing. Nice.
