Bottle from Stormbird, Camberwell, 3rd March 2013. Have been drinking plenty of this since first sampling it at the brewery in mid-February. In fact drank 5 bottles of this and the Galaxy version at various locations over the weekend so safe to say this has become a firm ’go-to’ beer. Nice foggy yellow/gold colour with orange peel and spices on the nose. Tastes of citrus and spices with a satisfying dryness in the finish. Personally prefer this to the Galaxy version but both are excellent. Summer can’t come soon enough. Theydon_Bois (20435) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2013
Bottle at home, picked up from the brewery, 01/04/13.
Pours a hazed golden amber with a thinnish white head that holds up well.
Nose is yeast, light funk, farmy, lemon tang, orange peel, pinch of nutmeg.
Taste comprises yeast, orange peel, citrus notes, grass, lemon rind, light spice, musty funkadellics.
Medium bodied, soft soft carbonation, smooth as, pitched perfectly, dryish finale.
This is a top draw saison! Beersiveknown (5301) - NORTHERN IRELAND - APR 8, 2013

dry spicy nose, full bodied with creamy wheat spicy character plus some bready malt reminding me of the best German beers but with the dry ester finish of a saison. Really easy drinking for its strength and another winner from partizan
Bottle at home in London, picked up at the brewery. Pours very lightly hazy, deep gold with a fine, creamy white head. Plenty of wheat and yeast in the nose, hints of ripening citrus fruits, some doughy malts. Medium sweet flavor, some spicy yeast, doughy malts, light bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Clean, lightly drying to finish, doughy bread, dry orangey citrus. Solid saison. Great balance, very refreshing. Nice. Tap at Haand Festival 2013. Cloudy orange body, big thick white head. Flowery aroma with orange, pepper and chamomilla. Taste is really fruity, grass, pepper, balanced bitterness, flowery finish. A very nice saison for sunny days. Scopey (15427) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle at Partizan. It pours hazy golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is earth, spice, brown bread, hay, lemon sherbet and citrus peel. The taste is earth, citrus peel, lemon, light metal and soap with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty, but the galaxy pips it to the post for me. teorn88 (7687) - Rimini, ITALY - APR 6, 2013
33cl bottle from the brewery. It pours a slightly hazy deep copper colour with 1 finger of soapy white head. Aroma is quite complex, quite zesty with notes of agrumes and peppercorns. Taste is well balanced between the light bitter notes with some floral hops and grass, and the more sweet-ish side with dried fruits, some yeast and bread. Just a tad of funk. Overall, good saison.
