CacheManyHose (713) - HONG KONG - JUN 6, 2017
Bottle from Bethnal Green, London. Drank at home w Matt. Pours an opaque black-brown with a foamy beige head. Smells of dark roast coffee, ash, stony inky almost medicinal bitterness, toasted malt, biscotti, walnut, spice and dried dark fruit/fig. booze. Taste is heavy bitterness, black coffee, roasted malt, sharp herbal bitterness. Body is bitter, thick, sharp/acidic finish with a bit of slickness. Very nice!

HKdIPA (799) - HONG KONG - JUN 6, 2017
Bottle from S’s UK trip at home in HK. Pitch black pour with tan head. Aroma is cocoa, roasted coffee, and some dried fruit, booze. Taste is rich leather, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and booze. Rich but only slightly. Lasting bitterness with boozy warmth. Very nice. Definitely would get again. Huge flavor for lighter (relatively) big stout.

2016 catch up - Bottle at home from the brewery - It was a high concept stout and it didn’t really do it for me. The mouthfeel and the flavour were there with plenty of dark malt, but it just wasn’t my bag. It was probably just me.

datrael (476) - Kraków, POLAND - MAR 15, 2017
Kran. Konkretny stout, w zapachu i smaku dużo czekolady, pralin, kawy, paloności, nieco laktozy, bardzo intensywne. Czarne z niezłą beżową pianą. Pijalność wysoka, wyraźna palona goryczka. Nieco zahacza intensywnością o fesa lub nawet portera bałtyckiego. Bardzo dobre piwo

Aromat - mocno palony, kawowy, nawet z lekka tytoniowy, gorzka czekolada. Piana drobna, beżowa, zostaje na szkle. W smaku bardzo podobnie jak w aromacie plus przyjemna gładkość i nuta kwasoty.
