Bottle from the Partizan Brewery on 26 October. Poured an oily black with a large and dense tan head. Brilliant, full aroma of dark fruit, toffee and huge roast. Velvety mouth feel, absolutely spot on. Flavours of coffee, burnt sugar and tobacco. Finish was a perfect balance of burnt malts, espresso and molasses. Truly superb beer. weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2014
Bottle. Poured dark brown almost black with a medium to large beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, burnt wood and roasted malts. Flavour has big coffee licks, chocolate, slight licorice, medium bitterness. Superb. mecafilo (219) - Perugia, ITALY - AUG 31, 2016
On tap @ Partizan Brewery, London, UK. Pours with a pitch black colour, small diminishing tan head. Aroma is medium to heavy malty, with notes of coffee and chocolate; some vanilla and fruit too; there’s even some hops there. Good aroma, but it’s the taste that takes the party away: medium to heavy sweet, medium bitter, slightly sour: very well balanced and tasty. Medium body, oily texture, soft carb. A very, very good stout. Beersiveknown (5291) - NORTHERN IRELAND - DEC 11, 2013

Fruity molasses and tobacco, dark brown with tan head, woody vanilla spice, coffee. Rich, full bodied, fruity yeast esters, dry coffee, sweet chocolate, dry finish.
330ml bottle from Borough Wines, Stoke Newington. A delicious stout, as always from Partizan. Fairly sweet with raisins, fruit cake, dusty chocolate and lovely smooth malts. Hugely enjoyable and deceivingly strong.

Bottle shared at the brewery RBESG. Opaque black with a nice loose tan head. Aroma is ashy roast, nutty and some dried fruits and touch of booze. Flavour is smooth dark roast, slight ashy, mineral and some sweet caramel rounds things out. Palate is full and rounded, moderate carbonation. Long lingering roast. Very tasty. Quite sweet.
