Wonderful, full creamy mouth feel. Full bodied flavours of bitter coffee, dense fruit cake and dark fruit. 330 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a snifter. Bottled on 25-04-2013. Like pouring motor oil, thick, very dark, looks pitch black in the glass with absolutely no light passing through. Wonderfull dark brown fluffy head, good lacing. Not the most powerful and "in your face" aroma, but very complex and subtle, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, a huge amount of roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate, plus a hint of dark fruits (think berries). Perfectly balanced in the mouth, with a slight coffee and roasty bitterness that counteract a chocolaty, almost milky sweetness. A light ashy/smoky sensation on the tongue as well. The body is velvety full, with a oily texture that coats the lips, and a soft and gentle carbonation. No trace of the alchool at all, ridiculously well hidden. A damn well crafted foreign stout, nothing more to add!

0.33 l bottle. Pours the darkest brown body, under a low lasting latte head. Aroma of well roasted dark malts, leaving whiffs of burnt caramel, licorice, soot and black chocolate. Near full body, smooth mouthfeel. Heavily roasted malt flavor. Not very sweet, with tones of peppery chocolate, licorice and soot/ash. Both malt- and hop-bitterness linger in a lasting finish. Potent stuff, good drinkabilty. Dedollewaitor (16314) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 26, 2013
Bottle @ Alesbymail. Pours Black With a small creamy head. Lovely roast, coffee , milky chocolate and fresh hops. Smooth , soft and filing texture. Bitter finish from both roast and hops. Close to perfection. Desverger (12516) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2013
Bottle - black pour with a medium tan head. Roasted and toasty malts, caramel, some choc, sweet initial kick with a good roasted bitter finish. mike_77 (7011) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - DEC 19, 2013
Never seen a beer this thick before. Has the texture of melted ice cream. I like rich and oily beer but this was maybe too much. Aroma and flavour have a touch of smoke and lots of bitter roasted malt. Small amount of spice and dark chocolate. Some woody dryness in the finish. joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 17, 2013
