Bottle, Kris Wines, London. Poured black as a raven’s wing with a noice tan head. Chocolate coffee and booze in the nose. Lovely creamy smooth mouthfeel. Malts, coffee, chocolate and hops all at the party flavour-wise. Hugely drinkable and the ABV masking is just superb. Cracking stout this.

(Bottle): Pours black with a small tan head. Milk chocolate, coffee, wood, roasty notes in the aroma. Fantastic flavour, loads of smokey/roasty character, coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, slight dark fruits. Smooth body, very drinkable. You would never guess it’s 8.6%, absolutely no trace of alcohol. Fantastic.
