Bottle. Black color, brownish creamy head. Aroma is full of burnt malt, roastiness, coffee, earthy, burnt oak barrels. Flavor is malty, sweet, with dark berries, dark chocolate, coffeee, earth and burnt wood. Roastbitter finish. Very good foreign stout. Steasy66 (1155) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 20, 2013
From bitter virtue. Not quite black with half finger tan head. Super roasty aroma, bit scared at this point. Very roasty flavor, slightly acidic, really smooth finish. I’m a bit love hate on this, hate it on the front of my tongue, love it on the back. Decent beer. CraftBeerNick (2550) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2013
Bottle at home, 12th October 13. Lovely smooth stout, good carbonation, lots of cocoa, a little leather, and coffee. Tasty and lingering flavours Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2013
330ml bottle. Darkest brown shade with a light brown head. Powerful roasty aroma neutralised with something like a vanilla lightness. Taste opens with sweet milk chocolate notes before harsher roasted malt takes over. Finishes a bit dry. Very tasty and evidently well worked. jaghana (6065) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - OCT 1, 2013
Bottle 33cl from Jan thanks ! A dark beer with medium off white head. Nose is on dark chocolate and dark coffee. Aroma is on the same with creamy body, light metallic touch, rich roasted body, slightly acrid at the finish with hay hops, alcohol is well hidden, a nice one.

Bottle @home, pours as black as can be with a thick oil slick head. Sweet like a cake mixture in the bowl with dried fruits carrying the day, bitter on the finish, a very nice beer.

Dark brown with odd whips of yeast, coffee brown head which precipitated interestingly on swirl. Straightforward dark malty, airy cocoa. Fat, thick initial mouthfeel - rich slowcooked malt, seeping coffee. Capable, resilient richness - very thick finish. viktorvee (510) - Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2013
