Appearance: Black body with a thin beige head. Light lacing marks.
Taste: Similar to the aroma but with more coffee and a blackcurrant finish. Very bitter and roasted with virtually no hint of the high alcohol content.
Palate: Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft carbonation prickle.
Overall: A lovely, roasted Foreign Stout. This bottle was 8.7% ABV.
Small beige head quickly disappears. Opaque black body. Roasty licorice aroma with spicy milky earthy notes. Dry-sweet chocolatey licorice and wood taste with earthy spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish chocolatey spicy wooden aftertaste with roasted rice and grain notes. Lovely, delicate, vivid, highly drinkable. Very nice smooth soft coffee aroma. A bit messy in the taste. Sticky and mashy. Too burnt. Nice espresso finish, though. One dimensional, and as such quite uninteresting. Some ashiness later.

Pitch black colour with a tiny dark tan head.
Roasted malt, coffee and mild hoppy bitterness in the aroma.
Very roasted malty flavour with coffee. There’s no hoppiness in the flavour. Very dark and roasted. Too roasted for me.
(Bottle, 0.33 l, courtesy of VastActive, 20130713) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had roasted malts, liquorice, coffee and dark chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were liquorice, coffee, ash, roasted malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A good strong stout.

Pours a pitch black colour with a beige foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, leather, biscuit and chocolate. Flavour is really rich with roasted malts, nuts, biscuit, strong bitterness, coal, pepper and ash. Mellow honey-like sweetness as well. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a long, rich, dry, warming, lingering bitter, tad sweet finish. Balance is as good as it gets. Great stuff!
Bottle from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon 7.07.13 Great stout, wonderful coffee, great roasty flavour, nicely thick in the mouth a hugely impressive stout from Partizan, good bitterness the alcohol is very well hidden. Really like this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8 Rune (12741) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 5, 2013
330ml bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Shared with Stefan. Creamy, tan-coloured head. Opaque, dark coloured body with a deep brownish glint. Rich roasted, dark chocolate aroma, some cocoa and coffee hints. Taste of anise, ash, coffee and mid-sweet chocolate. Roasted ending added by fruit bitterness. Surprisingly easy to drink. Pretty nice (hotel room, Leeds 29.06.2013). SaintMatty (7362) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 1, 2013
