740cm (cubed) bottle in Mendoza, Argentina. Cost about US$5 at the Hipermarcado Carrefour. Color is golden, darker than most Argentinian lagers. Fizzy head that rapidly thins out and beads around the edge of the glass. Smells of yeast that mellows as you drink it. Tastes like a lager and has some bitterness, again more than the typical Argentine lager. I wouldn’t bother holding this up to a Pilsner Urquell or the like. Has the flavor of an inexpensive continental pils. Medium bodied for its origin, quite fizzy, and it has a slight bitter/yeasty finish. All in all, I can see why some of the locals recommended this as head and shoulders above what is less expensive and more widely available. This beer is about 3 to 4 times more expensive than the more popular large format beers.

Sissio (1620) - Orsenigo, ITALY - MAY 5, 2017
Bottle at home, brought from Argentina. Clear gold, minimal disappearing white head. Metallic, cereal, simple malts and hoppy. Sweet maltiness, easy body, cereal.

Kita (2117) - Koper, SLOVENIA - APR 14, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l, shared with Saska. Clear deep golden color, thin quickly diminishing white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, grassy, dusty and mild floral. Taste starts medium sweet grainy and chalky, following is mild fruity and grassy, while finish is medium bitter. Light body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not bad, but without any notable surplus...

Clear golden color with white head. Grainy aroma. Taste of grains, cereal and a bit spicy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a medium white head. Grassy nose with some chalk and dust. Mild bitetry feel with sweet backbone. A bit metallic. Mild taste. Typical lager feel, nothing special. Light and drinkable, that’s it.

Manslow (1629) - Warsaw, POLAND - NOV 20, 2016
Butelka 0,33l na lotnisku w Buenos Aires. Kolor złoty, ładny, klarowny, piana drobna osiada na szkle. Aromat słodowy w smaku lekkie cytrusy, goryczka w normie, przyjemne na podniebieniu, dobre piwo.

altonbrownd (5898) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - NOV 10, 2016
Bottle from Asuncion Gas Station. Bold gold body with fast-receding head. Nose is skunky, wheat. Taste is hops, cereal, straw, some citrus notes. Some fruits in the finish. Pretty basic stuff.

Perfeito essa cerveja, boa para tomar com petiscos de bar e com carnes vermelhas

Haslinger (929) - The World of Beer, Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2016
drunk from the bottle while in Argentinian Patagonia, solid beer especially compared to the other swill produced in Latin America. Good smooth taste, some hops a little bit of malt. Very drinkable pilsener

nazbion (302) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - MAY 26, 2016
Pours pale yellow with thin white head. Light malty aroma, no hops. Taste is light malty and a slight bitter finish. Light body, average carbonation. Better than most macros, but far from a bohemian pilsner.
