Pours clear golden with huge fizzy moslty diminishing white head with some lacing. Faint banana and yeast in nose. Not much flavor, very dry and thin with an alcholic bitter aftertaste. Not my idea of how a belgian blonde should be.

330ml bottle (Poirotti Kallio, Helsinki)
Fruity hoppy aroma, also some grains. A bit of wit-like wheat and orange too. Taste is packed full of lightly roasted malts, but also has crisp and sharp hoppy buds too. Not big in any way, but that makes it so drinkable. Simple, but beautiful, ale. Everything in balance.

Bottle. Pours a clear blond, small head. Nose is sweet with apricot, orange peel, coriander. Taste is not as sweet as smell, but sweet overripe fruits, then some spice and bitter, with quick finish. Thin, well-carbonated.

(Bottle at Poirotti Kallio on 2009-01-16) Golden. Clear. Medium sized white head. Yeasty and fruity nose. Medium bodied palate, dryish and medium carbonation. Sweetness, fruitiness, citric flavours, coriander and little bit bitterness in taste.

In short: A characterless belgian blonde ale
How: Bottle 330ml, consumed when about 8 months old
The look: slightly cloudy golden body topped by a long-lasting small white head
In long: Shy nose of noble grassy hops. Taste is very simple, with candy sugar, some honey, some dry grass, earthy notes, dried citrus. Pleasant dryness in the finish but not much bitterness. A rather standard Belgian blonde ale, not offensive but doesn’t amount to anything. The type of beer I feel I drank this beer 1000 times before but I don’t remember it, or maybe I don’t remember it because I was too hammered after drinking 1000 of them.
