COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For Pater Lieven Wit, wheat and oats are used during the brewing process, which give the beer its pale color and cloudy appearance. Pater Lieven Wit is unfiltered. Therefore, it remains cloudy and contains living yeast cells. It is flavored with coriander and orange peel, which provide pleasant fruity and thirst-quenching characters.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops, lemons, and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, lemons, and coriander, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The body is light.

[5/12/12] Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke in Copenhagen. Hazy yellow with a white head. Spicy aroma with citrus peels. Sweet flavor, wheaty, spicy and somewhat sugary, with coriander and some lemon. Medium-bodied. OK but not a good example of the style.

ekstedt (6790) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 13, 2012
Bottle (33 cl) from beerplanet.be. Hazy golden with some floaters, medium white head. Fruity and earthy aroma with some notes of coriander. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi sweet with low bitterness. Lacking the refreshing acidity of a really good Wit.

Botella. Bottle. Tulip glass. Enjoye don agt´11.Pale straw color. Foggy. White, small sized bubbled, dense crown. Retention is good. Yeast & fresh citric, vanilla notes, bready crust hues & spices to the nose. Funny orange zest upfront. Sweet & peppery.Lemony in the middle. Medium body, medium carbonation. Melon touch & dry bitter finish. Orange hint & fruity aftertaste. Refreshing. Nice spot of the Wit style. Well balanced both flavors & aromas.Comment: last drop served with yeast sediments will show an intense orange flavor.
