(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, reddish amber with a creamy, beige head. Sweetish aroma of caramel and spices. Fairly full-bodied with sweetish, malty caramel notes and some spices. 211006

Bottle. Hazy, dark orange pour, with a beige head. Sweet and malty nose, with caramel, fruityness, some spicy notes and dried fruits. Dried fruits and malt starts the flavor, soon followed by caramel, and then a spicyness. It has a long, sweet and slightly spiced finish. Medium to full body. Quite nice, but a bit hard to grade. The total experience is better than if I spilt it into aroma and flavor. (070928)

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy hazzlenut brown with a huge light tan head. Dry and slight mouldy aroma with a mild roasted malt note. Sweet malty flavoured with a mild spice note. Lingering overripe fruity note swept in dark malt flavours into the finish.

bierkoning (13300) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - OCT 17, 2006
Brown color. Roasted malt in the rather herbal aroma. Sweetish, roasted flavor with raisin. Malty and bready. The alcohol is fairly well hidden, but still noticeable. Powerful beer with enough flavor to be pleasurable, but somehow I feel this beer could be much better.
