taste: malty, nutty, bread, body quite thin for a maibock and thus drinkable czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 3, 2012
on tap at brothers, ottawa. bright golden with a nice frothy white head, good retention and lacing. sweetly hayed malts, some breadiness and fruitiness, flowery hallertau. average carbonation, medium body - oily, decent herbal citrusy finish. crossovert (13726) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 10, 2011
0.1 l pour in a Probier-Trio. It is an earthy but sweet Maibock. Not an exemplary version of the style. Nickls (2577) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAR 22, 2011
Tap at brewpub. Finger and a half of pure white frothy foam; clearer rust orange. Matly aroma, yeasty, and some light fruit. Quite fruity taste, light earth, some sweet-sour juxtaposition. Medium body with sparkling carbonation. Good brew. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 6, 2009
Orange colored with little yellow head. Sweet hand made aroma with caramelly chocolate notes, good aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor has even richer chocolate dominating, hops come up in still sweet aftertaste. Rather sweet and easy to drink beer, but does the work on hot day like this.

Golden and sweet. Maybe one of the least memorable Maibocks or maybe I was just becoming tired of them. Flavors seemed a lot more subdued and the palate was a little thin. Nothing terribly wrong, but nothing exceptional. jonas (7986) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 11, 2005

Cloudy amber, low lacing head.
Light fruity and somewhat estery aroma.
Fullbodied, fruity with a ok aromatic balance.
Refreshing and fits the season.
